The name derives from the fact that it once had a rounded shape. Now that circle has been partly lost but the beauty of this town at 400 meters above sea level and included among the most beautiful villages in Italy has remained. 30 minutes to arrive.
Rione Monti is the heart of the trulli area that rises towards the side of a hill with small parallel streets flanked by white houses. Here there are over 1000 trulli while in the area called Rione Aia piccola there are another 400. 15 minutes to get there.
Martina Franca where the Baroque defined as Martinese reigns. Martina Franca is located on a plateau that has always been inhabited, its golden age was in the 18th century when the most beautiful palaces arose among which one cannot fail to mention the Palazzo Ducale with its halls full of frescoes and the basilica of San Martino which, in the heart of the centre, is striking for its majestic façade where the statue of the patron saint stands out. 20 minutes to arrive, and about 25 minutes to return to Taranto.

Locorotondo is dressed for Christmas party, lights, Christmas houses, breasts and mulled wine. Congratulations to the inhabitants and the pro loco for the wonderful work. Worth a visit at night to admire the breathtaking beauty of this town in the Itria valley.
Giai was a great help in recommended things to see. We did not have a lot of time in port yet we got to visit three wonderful cities and get a taste of the area. We loved visiting all three cities.

Everything fine arranged. Recommended! Picked up outside the cruise terminal and went to the 3 villages. Very nice. We had a private ride with driver, no mini van or bus. Totally fine!

Punctual pickup at the meeting point. It would be a small group; a car-a van with 5 people. A companion and a driver in our van.

We had a lovely time, the tour was arranged for us short notice as it was booked out. We had pickup and drop off at our hotel. Our driver and tour guide were both lovely and gave us good recommendations for places to eat and get VERY tasty gelato.

We had a lovely day. The villages are beautiful and the amount in each enough to see around and have a drink or snack. We had issues getting from the port to the pick up location and the host was accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommended- especially for cruise passengers.

Pietro and Giuseppe took us to three locations in a very nice private van. Giuseppe the diver got us to each location on or ahead of time. Pietro walked with us at each location highlighting the must see spots. He was very informative and helpful in suggesting food and wine spots. My wife and I enjoyed this tour very much and highly recommend it.

This was absolutely the best way to experience some of the smaller towns of you have limited time. Pedro and Dominico were our locals who drove us. They were both very friendly and answered questions we had while we were on the road. Once we got to the towns, we were free to explore on our own. The van was so clean and the air conditioning felt great after we explored and headed to another town. Absolutely a great experience if you want to see three very distinctly different towns in Puglia. Absolutely exceeded my expectations!
