Vatican skip the line ticket with host

I was a little disappointed because I booked this tour hoping that we would be one of the first to enter of the day but this time was actually when you meet at a tour office and we didn’t leave for another 30 minutes. It really put us behind schedule because the Vatican is so vast. However, the tour guide did a great job of navigating getting inside. It was a mess with all of the people waiting.

I bought tickets for three people. And I don't understand why we were charged $197.00 when the tickets we received showed only $25.00 each. Also, when I wanted to change the time for the tour it was going to cost me $300 more.

We loved our experience with Renae. She was knowledgeable and passionate about the Vatican & history.

We did the Early Morning Vatican Private Tour and our guide was Rosa. Rosa was a fantastic guide. She took us all around the Vatican knowing the exact timings sections would open for the best viewing. She was very knowledgable and provided us with a great experience. She truly wanted to ensure we were able to see all the highlights. I highly recommend the tour! Thank you Rosa for an amazing time!

I booked tickets for me and my wife on on the Rome Private Guides site. We met at the requested time (2:45) and promptly left to walk to the Vatican with 28 people total. There is a short line to get through security but not bad maybe 5-10 min tops. Francisco was a wonderful tour guide, we all got ear pieces to listen to him clearly. They have a range of 20-30 ft. Francisco is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all the history along the way, he was like our own professor throughout the tour. He stopped multiple times to give in-depth explanations of multiple artifacts, paintings, sculptures and the many statues in the Vatican. The Vatican is always packed with a lot of people and it’s really hot inside at times especially on the top floors so dress lightly, of course you can not expose your knees or shoulders in the Sistine chapel but all along the tour in the Vatican it’s ok. Pictures ok as well, only until you get to the Sistine Chapel they tell you put it away and cover up since it is a church. Truly an incredible place it visit, highly recommending this tour.

Claudia was very friendly and knew so much about the history of the Vatican museum, the Sistine chapel and St Peter’s sq. Claudia answered all our questions and made the tour very interesting. I would highly recommend the tour. I would say that the Vatican is extremely busy so make sure you book in advance. The only thing I would say was a negative experience was the other visitors talking in the Sistine chapel when we were all told to be silent on entry but this was no fault of our tour guide.

The tour was conducted by Davide, we met at the appointedtime, brief instrcution about entering the Vatican and estimated times for the entrance process and we were away. A tour of the Vatican Museum, Papal Apartments and the Sistine chapel Davide was informative, knowledgeable and pointed out things we would not have noticed f we had toured without a guide Encyclopaedic knowledge of the development of arts and artist Ended in the Jump gthe Line for Basiica. Superb

The tour guide was very nice, but the whole experience was completely rushed. We upgraded and paid for the museum tour and you couldn't even stop to look at the artifacts. It felt like one million people herded like cattle from start to finish. Sisteen chapel and st peter's basillica were beautiful if you don't mind being in a extreme fire hazard with a million people jam packed like sardines. Although beautiful It just wasn't a pleasant experience at all especially for the price paid.

We had an excellent guide called Laura Gangemi who made a very interesting tour with brilliance and engagement. She even managed to keep my 14 year old interested and alert for 2,5 hours! Many thanks!

We had the guide saveiro. In the beginning, he gave some instructions on how he works. Follow closely and stay together and not walk in front of him. He came across as a bit strict but in the end that was his humour. And it worked his strategy to hear in the crowds all the information he knows. He has a lot of knowledge and fun humor! We had a very nice experience because of that! Highly recommended, I will never forget this man when it comes to Rome. All very well arranged!
