It was such a well-organised tour that also gave you freedom to explore. John gave us great tips on how to make the experience more enjoyable and made the typically boring parts engaging and clear! I would definitely recommend this tour if you like something easy/ organised and like to do your own thing. Thank you John, you're a legend!
Fred was a great guide! I enjoyed his in-depth knowledge and insights as to the history of everything we saw. His humor instead of a dry recitation of facts made the tour so enjoyable!
A lot of walking is involved, so wear comfortable footwear. Wall with water to keep hydrated because the place is real hot. The Guide was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain during the tour.
It was very easy to check in and find the meeting point per the itinerary. The host John was very friendly and funny. He was very informative.
Guide pushed through other large groups and didn’t make sure everyone was able to keep up without getting lost.
It was very informative but you walk a lot. Maximos was very knowledgeable and kept us in the shade as much as possible!!
We chose the 3 hour tour thinking that we would see more of the Vatican than the shorter tours but that was not the case. We saw the same things but our tour guide stopped and talked about everything for significantly longer than the other guides. I would recommend for a history buff but it was a bit too much for our family. If you want to see the Vatican but don’t need every little detail, take one of the shorter duration tours.
John was great and very friendly
Very disappointing. We realize we were 5 minutes late due to our Uber Druver but I kept in contact explaining out situation and I was assured they would wait. They did not but a couple who were significantly late for their 7:45am tour were put with another tour. We were left to do our own self guided tour, which was a disaster. We finally left after an hour. I feel we need reimbursed. Please respond
Line moves quickly. Plenty of time in the Vatican museums and Sistine chapel. Didn’t feel rushed. Tour guide was pleasant.
