Start your experience by meeting your host or, if included, your expert tour guide, who will provide your skip-the-line tickets and help you access the Vatican Museums. For guided options, headsets are included for clear commentary as you explore some of the museum’s most celebrated highlights, from the Pinecone Courtyard to the Pio-Clementino Museum and the stunning Vatican Galleries. Your guide will bring the collections to life with stories and insights along the way. If you select the ticket-only option, your host will escort you to the entrance and you will then visit the museums independently.

- A dress code is required to enter the selected places of worship and museums. Shorts and sleeveless tops are not permitted. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may be refused entry if you do not comply with these dress requirements.
- Travelers with a disability card do not need to purchase tickets.
- Please be aware that access to the Sistine Chapel is subject to Vatican regulations and ceremonies. The Vatican Museums may decide to close the Sistine Chapel on short notice for official events or religious proceedings. In the event of any unexpected developments, we are unable to foresee or control these closures in advance. However, your ticket will still grant you full access to the Vatican Museums.

This is not a reliable booking to make. Just an hour before my scheduled tour the tickets were canceled although I received multiple reminders that my tour was coming up soon. I instead was able to find last minute tickets in person for around 65 Euros to skip the line and not have a guide - which is more expensive thank getting tickets directly from the Vatican museums but cheaper than what Viator was charging.
Worthwhile but pricey. John was very helpful.
It was not a guided tour, only skip the line tickets. Tour guide just came with us till security point and that’s all.
ESL (English as a second language), our guide was full of information, passion and knowledge. Unfortunately this would be lost to the background noise (the ear pieces provided were for one ear only, barely stayed on ear and not great for clear sound). Was challenging to understand or focus on his speaking. Add in ESL and it made for a long and hot (35c) day for a 2.5hr tour. For the price very disappointing.

Total rip off. Cost £60 to jump a 10 min que . The “ guide” took us to the entry and that was it . Buyers beware , this trip had no audio or guide support
This is difficult to give a review because our tour guide, John was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly, and deserves a five out of five. What is frustrating is paying a lot of money but racing through the rooms and missing major parts of the museum (statue hall, Raphael rooms, Egyptian and ancient collections) in order to maintain a pace for the group. I would’ve preferred to break off of a group with my family and see these sites, but then we would’ve lost our opportunity to get into the Basilica. Perhaps this could be mentioned on the website before purchasing. Again, John was amazing and deserves a raise!
John was fantastic! A wealth of information, super friendly, and got us right into the museum. A great experience that I would recommend.
The meeting place was flagged, but it was slightly difficult to tell. I went there earlier than the meeting time, but I was grateful to be added to the tour earlier because I had an opening in the previous time slot.
More waiting than I expected to start the tour but great once we got going. Good size group. Good guide.
