John was awesome, entry support was greatly appreciated.
Of course you’ll want to go to the Sistine Chapel. Our tour guide warned us that people will all be shoving each other trying to get the perfect picture, and this is true. Expect it to be very busy here. You’ll like spend only 5-7 minutes in the chapel itself. Also note that there are many other beautiful ceilings throughout the museum, and hundreds of other works of art, tapestries, statues, etc. to see and admire.
Friendly guide who took us inside the museum.
As a ordained minister in the Protestant tradition, this was a bucket list trip for me and I must say I was underwhelmed totally by the Sistine Chapel; crowded and noisy with people just ignoring the signs and audio requests to maintain silence. This was after endless hallways of exhibits of similar styles of the same thing, such as case upon case of Greek urns. The staff were amazing, and for a disabled person such as myself the we very helpful. So visit once, tick it off the bucket list, then spend more time at the basilica.
Great experience! We were able to go at our own pace and not have to be part of a big group especially since it was very hot.
Not that essential to have a company guarantee just entrance
Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts following your visit. We completely respect that, from your personal experience, you may have felt that arranging the entrance independently would have been sufficient. Every visitor has different preferences when it comes to planning their time at the Vatican Museums. We would, however, like to provide some context regarding the service you booked. This experience is not presented as a guided tour, but as a Skip-the-Line entrance service designed to take care of the organization surrounding the visit. This includes a dedicated check-in point close to the Museums, pre-arranged admission for the selected time, assistance from our staff, collection of the official entrance tickets, and support throughout the entry procedure. It is certainly possible to purchase tickets independently directly through the Vatican when availability permits, and this can be a suitable option for visitors who prefer to organize everything themselves. Our service is intended for those who prefer the convenience and reassurance of having their entrance arranged in advance and a local team available to assist them, particularly during busy periods when official tickets can be limited and the entrance area can be extremely crowded. Once inside, guests are then free to explore the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel independently and at their own pace, which is precisely the format of the experience booked. We appreciate your feedback, as we understand that the additional assistance and organization provided by this type of service may be more valuable to some travelers than to others. We nevertheless hope you enjoyed discovering the extraordinary collections of the Vatican Museums and, of course, the Sistine Chapel. Kind regards, Veronica
They are so helpful, we were running late, due to our flight landing late, and they got us on our tour! The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great tour! I would recommend if possible to do the Saint Peter‘s Basilica!
We’re so happy we could help turn a stressful start into a memorable visit! Our team always does its best to assist when unexpected travel delays happen, so it’s wonderful to know we were able to get you onto your tour and that you enjoyed your time with our knowledgeable and friendly guide. And we completely agree — St. Peter’s Basilica is an incredible addition to a Vatican visit whenever time and access allow! Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing Inside Out Italy. We hope the rest of your time in Rome was just as enjoyable! Warm regards, Inside Out Italy Team
Pretty poor overall communication.
Dear Emily, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you felt the communication surrounding your visit was not up to the standard you expected. Clear and timely communication is extremely important to us, particularly for an experience such as the Vatican Museums, where meeting points, ticket collection, and entrance procedures need to be properly coordinated. We are therefore disappointed to know that this was not your impression on the day. As your review does not mention the specific issue you encountered, it is difficult for us to fully understand what may have gone wrong. If you wish to contact us directly and share some additional details about your experience, we would be more than happy to look into this further and assist you. In any case, we certainly take your feedback seriously and will continue working to ensure that all information provided to our guests is as clear and helpful as possible. We are sorry that this aspect affected your overall experience, and we sincerely appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Kind regards, Veronica
We didn’t want a guide through the Vatican as it is way too big and we wanted to cover a lot of ground in the time we were there. Easy access to Vatican and experience was great. We would highly recommend to anyone.
Dear Nicholas, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're delighted that the self-guided format gave you the freedom to explore the Vatican at your own pace and cover so much ground during your visit. It's wonderful to know that access was smooth and easy, and that you'd recommend us to others. Thank you for choosing Inside Out Italy. Warm regards, The Inside Out Italy Team
Don’t use their app to listen to your tour information. Rent the museums audio tour instead. Otherwise quick and easy skip the line was worth it
Dear Jenni, Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We really appreciate the tip about renting the museum's own audio guide instead of using our app, and we'll be sure to pass this along to our team. We're glad that the skip-the-line entry itself was quick, easy, and worth it for your visit. Thank you for choosing Inside Out Italy, and we hope to welcome you back to Rome soon. Warm regards, The Inside Out Italy Team
