- All visitors must have their shoulders and knees covered to enter the Museums
- During busy periods, increased visitor numbers may lead to longer wait times for security checks and the mandatory collection of Vatican headsets
- Please note that the tickets for this tour is from the queue and not skip the line
- Due to the rules inside the Sistine Chapel, guides are not permitted to speak. As a result, the guide will provide an explanation of the Sistine Chapel's significance and its artwork while the group is in the queue to enter the Vatican Museums. The guide will still accompany you inside the Sistine Chapel, but no further commentary can be given once inside.
- During a Papal transition, the Sistine Chapel may close without notice for the Papal Conclave. Access is not guaranteed, and no refunds will be issued for closures.
- Restoration work on Michelangelo’s The Last Judgment will take place in 2026. The Sistine Chapel will remain open, but scaffolding may partially or fully obstruct the altar wall. No refunds are issued for restoration work, scaffolding, or unannounced closures by the Vatican.

They canceled our tour an hour before we were supposed to do it. They did not message us early in the day to let us know it was canceled. We planned our whole day around this tour and when we showed up to the meeting point they said it was canceled. I would not go with this tour group. The tour guides walked away and were gone for 30+ mins and would not answer questions. They did not try to rebook a tour and were not apologetic at all for cancelling our tour. That was the only day we had to do the Vatican and were greatly disappointed that they cancelled.
Worth every Euro invested, Stefanía is a very passionate guide who explained everything with patience and more details than expected
Manuel, our Cuban guide, was very good! But I wouldn't do it again without priority entry! We were informed that admission would take approximately 40’, but we were more than an hour and a half to enter! And that is that we chose without priority access, because we wanted to tour in Spanish... and it was what we got (and bought in time). Yes, I would again, NOT without priority access!

The activity has not been carried out. Wanderwise does not buy tickets in advance, and they do not guarantee that you will be able to enter. After more than half an hour of queuing, we are told that the doors have closed and that the visit will not take place.
