Excellent organization, the guide was very kind and friendly. We recommend it.
This is an absolute must if you visit Rome. I don’t know how you would even begin to navigate the museums on your own. Not to mention the time you save by skipping the queue. We had Marcello as our guide …. He was absolutely brilliant. So charismatic and incredibly knowledgeable. Both of my children said it was the best tour we did in Rome but that was mainly due to Marcello. He was a superstar. Thank you Marcello and also for the top tip about the lift at the end! We had a super time.
We had a private evening tour of the Vatican with Silvio from Capitolium Tours. The tour was exceptional. Silvio had such an amazing knowledge of not only what we were seeing, but also background of the “how” and “why”. Silvio had a great flow to the tour and he highlighted so many things that we would have otherwise missed. I just wish we had more Euros on us to give a bigger tip.
We had an amazing private evening tour of the Vatican Museums! Our guide was incredibly informative and had excellent knowledge of the history and art throughout. It was such a peaceful and memorable way to experience the Vatican. Highly recommended—such a great trip!
Our tour of the Vatican was an incredible experience and our guide Raffi was outstanding. She was engaging with every member of the family including our young son. She also brought a wealth of knowledge on history and the arts which added a lot to the experience. Again, a wonderful experience.
Excellent background and art history perspective. Map room a fave. Sistine Chapel amazing. Tour was on time and concise.
Very knowledgeable tour guide with a sense of humor that made the two hours tour felt like 30 minutes. Rome was really hot in August but it was slightly cooler in the afternoon and Vatican was way less crowded. fantastic tour overall even though two hours is not enough.
Absolutely incredible! Our guide Laura was so knowledgeable. She made sure to include our 3 kids were included and engaged. I highly recommend this tour ❤️
I had done a small group tour with Roman Guy that covered exactly the same plus the Saint Peter’s Basilica and it was at 7 am for $50 a person. On the other hand, this tour l didn’t include a visit to the Saint Peters’ Basilica. It was about $160 per person. I think this company oversold the tour experience. It wasn’t worth so much. Also they began 10 minutes late. Next time I would choose a group tour.
Was touted as an after hours tour. Less crowded but still very busy. I didn’t realize that St. Peter’s would be closed after we were done. Guide was good but just above average. Not sure if it was a good value.
