Tour and tour guide were wonderful. Location for getting passes was incorrect and trying g to find out where we needed to be meant we missed our tour. We did get put on later tour. Disconnect between viator and local tour companies was the story of our trip. But once on them the tours were excellent and viator customer service were good to work with.
Leaving the site. Trip ruined from the start by being given wrong info as to where we redeemed the tickets! Rushing around in the heat to finally find place trip was setting off from and holding up all others on trip so we were not very popular with the others and was asked by the guide to apologise to the other visitors though not our fault!!
the tour was very interesting: we had a young, knowledgeable guide (Andy) that knew literally everything about what we were seeing. He gave us a lot of suggestions for restaurants and shops. Thank you Andy and thank you SPQR for the unforgettable experience!
