Small group, I was just on my own. 2 hours was a little long but I enjoyed the history and gifts! Very kind staff!
So much fun! Some of the best Turkish coffee in Istanbul (because you make it yourself ;)). Good history of coffee and great way to start the day. The fortune telling at the end was very fun as well. Same studio also does Turkish lamp making classes!
What a disaster. They provided only part of what was offered. If the three types of coffee, we only did two. No water, tea or snacks were offered. This event takes place on the Asian continent. They meet you in the European side and take you over. They say they will return you back to the pickup point, as advertised. However, when the event was over they said It was up to us to get back. I filed a complaint with Viator that they never even responded to. Shane on Viator to not offer a refund based on the vendor failing to provide the excursion as advertised and not even getting back to Viator. Shows who more important to Viator, and that’s not you.
The experience was fantastic. We were told the history of Turkish coffee. The guide was friendly. Making to coffee was fun.
This class was absolute amazing. We learned the history of Turkish coffee and even made out own. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We had a meeting point then the guide lead us to a train that went under the Bosphorus to the Asian side. We took the ferry back which was so enjoyable. I highly recommend taking this class.
Azziz is a very dynamic and friendly guide who provided thorough information about coffee history and preparation with nice anecdotes. The gift (cezve and nicely decorated cup) is much appreciated. Overall, an excellent experience, thanks!
