This was a wonderful tour. Umut was funny, gave us a lot of history and information in a fun way. The sights were amazing. He gave general suggestions about what to do afterwards without naming any particular place. Ig was like visiting the sights with a friend showing us around their town. There was ample for breaks and the tour moved at a good pace. He answered all questions. I loved hearing how he told stories. Great tour!! I hope you get Umut as your tour guide! Highly recommend!! There is zero sales pitch anywhere in this tour so no need to worry about that. It was a warm day and he was quite mindful to keep us in the shade as we moved from monument to monument.
This experience was perfect. Murat, our guide, was friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer any question. He went at an easy pace allowing for us to learn the history and then gave us time to explore on our own. He even had restaurant recommendations to share. Highly recommend!
Mert was knowledgeable and friendly and easy to understand. There was a good balance between talking and looking. We liked the length of the tour both times and distance walked.
Great tour! Our guide, Umut, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts throughout the experience. He also had a great sense of humor, which made the tour even more enjoyable. He was kind, courteous, and gave us plenty of time to explore each location at our own pace. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Mert was an excellent tour guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely funny. Having a guide made the experience so much more enjoyable. Learning the history behind each site and being able to ask questions along the way added a whole new level of appreciation. I highly recommend taking this tour with Mert if you have the opportunity.
FIrst and foremost, MERT was the best tour guide we could ever have for this tour! His experience, knowledge and interaction with the group was above and beyond. The tour itself is very helpful if you have limited time in Istanbul (in our case only 1 day) and we were able to see what I call the "Big 3": Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, and the Basicilica Cistern. Entire tour was about 2.5 hours and just leaves you wanting more! Plus the fact that you can skip the lines is worth the $$ as well during peak tourist season.
Our guide Murat was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and easy to understand. He took good care of us and made sure we were getting what we needed out of the tour. We highly recommend him as a guide.
Very informative tour of the top sights in Old Town. We were fortunate that the cruise ships were not in port so there was no waiting in line at the sites. The tour guide, Murat, was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and religions, communicated well, and gave travelers tips. His presentation was very interesting and was a highlight of the tour. Came away with a deep understanding of these sights and an appreciation of their history.
Our guide Murat was knowledgeable and helpful. The pace of the walking tour was very manageable, he made sure we stayed in the shade and easily got in and out of the sites.
This is an obvious must tour in Istanbul. I absolutely loved this tour with our amazing tour guide, Mert! I highly recommend!
