We booked a private food tour directly with Do eat better. Communication was great and we were provided with two tour guys to enable our large group of 17 to access the tour and restaurants. Matteo and Bruna were excellent guides, fun, relaxed whilst always being professional and extremely knowledgeable. The food and all stops were wonderful and gave us the perfect insight to Lisbon in what was a short visit. We all had a brilliant time and memories made for ever. Thank you Matteo and Bruna 💗
Matteo was very knowledgeable about the city and the places we ate. Really enjoyed supporting the locally owned restaurants!
I was so lucky to be with Matteo’s food too. Was the best food tours I’ve ever experienced. It was far more than just tasting delicious food, it was a journey through Lisbon’s culture, hidden streets, and local stories. Every stop felt carefully selected, and the progression of the food and drinks was incredibly well thought out. From traditional specialties to local beverages, everything was authentic, high quality, and beautifully organized. A special thank you to Matteo, who made the experience truly unforgettable. His enthusiasm was contagious, his knowledge was impressive, and his genuine passion for Lisbon and its culinary traditions shone through every moment of the tour. I also loved how committed he is to supporting local businesses and family-owned establishments, which made the experience feel even more meaningful. I discovered wonderful places that I would never have found on my own, and I left with a much deeper appreciation for Lisbon’s food culture. If you’re visiting Lisbon, don’t hesitate, book this tour. It’s worth every minute.

Mateo was amazing! The food was delicious and the stops were fun!
We both really enjoyed the tour. Matteo was an excellent host and we went to places the locals frequent that we would not have found by ourselves. Matteo also gave us lots of tips for places/restaurants to eat in both in Lisbon and other places that we are going on our trip to Portugal. So I would highly recommend
