Hotel Pickup Details: Be ready 45 minutes before departure in the hotel lobby (60 minutes for non-central hotels). For info regarding service feasibility/coverage verification, ask the reception or contact our booking office. If your hotel is not covered, please reach the meeting point on your own. Self-Arrival Option: * If your accommodation isn't within our pickup service area, please come directly to the tour's starting point. * Arrive at Piazza del Risorgimento, central to the square, adjacent to Bar l'Ottagono, 20 minutes before the tour begins. * Spot our team wearing the 'I love Rome' logo in pink. Nearest metro: A-Line, Ottaviano stop

- This tour visits religious sites, and there is a dress code to be observed. Visitors must be dressed appropriately: no sleeveless blouses, no miniskirts, no shorts, and no hats are allowed.
- This activity is not wheelchair accessible
- By purchasing this tour, the customer agrees to follow only the guide assigned to him/her. It is not permitted to add external guides to the group after the tour has been purchased. We inform our customers that, in such circumstances, access to the Vatican Museums will be granted only if escorted by the assigned guide and respective group. If one chooses to opt out, they will forfeit all rights to the tour and ticket, with no possibility of a refund.
- For the issuance of Vatican Museums tickets, providing a first name and surname is mandatory. Without this information, the ticket cannot be issued. Once the Vatican Museums ticket is issued, it is non-refundable. It is also mandatory to bring your passport on the day of the tour.
- Please note that the Vatican Museums are an active place of worship. Therefore, some areas may be subject to sudden closures without prior notice. We will not be held responsible for such closures.
- Please note that if the Sistine Chapel is not accessible for reasons beyond our control, no partial refund will be provided
- Wednesday Audience Day: Expect changes to the museum flow. The tour may not end at St. Peter’s Square. We apologize for any inconvenience, but changes are beyond our control, and no refunds will be issued.
- Not recommended for people with limited mobility and wheelchair users

Excellent service and explanations.
We went on a pristine sistine tour with Laura. (I think that was her name). She was fantastic. She had a great sense of humour as well as enormous knowledge of the artwork and the history and a love of Raphael. I would recommend that tour to anyone, and she was really good for people who had quite a lot of knowledge and so appreciated her special expertise.

Despite buying skip-the-line tickets we had to queue for two hours in torrential rain

I love the coverage of everything we wanted to see. The guide was thorough and pleasant. She did a great job maneuvering through a large crowd of visitors. I'm 75 and hearing impaired. When I told her, the guide got me a better hearing device than what was handed out originally, but I still could not make out very much of her descriptions. My wife said she was terrific. My suggestion is to have over-the-ear muff-type headphones available for the hearing impaired. I also carried a portable small stool which I used frequently. This helped me to navigate the long tour. Unfortunately, it did not help with the hundreds of steps on staircases, both up and down. I made it but would not recommend the tour to anyone who is not able to navigate steps well. Bottom line, we're glad we took the tour. Kudos to our guide.
Roberta was a very intelligent interesting guide. She taught us about the Vatican museums with great knowledge and stories. She took us to the Sistine Chapel with such a thorough explanation of the scenes on the ceiling and wall. She then took us out to the front of St. Peter’s basilica where the pope was speaking and explained the architecture and sculpture. Roberta was phenomenal.
It was convenient, the tour picked me up at my hotel 15 mins before the tour started. Got only 6 people in my group whereas other tours got more than 15 people. The tour guide, Roberta, did a good job. She prepared pictures with explanation for the chapel while other tours didn’t have ones. Recommended.
Fabio was an amazing tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable in the art and history of the Vatican/St. Peter’s Basilica. His English was easy to understand and he connected the history/facts together throughout our tour to help us remember them. He was extremely kind, keeping us in the shade as much as possible and offering us frequent breaks. He even made an effort to remember our first names, which added a nice personal touch to our small group tour. He helped make our experience more memorable and we would definitely book with I Love Rome tours again!
