Finally to the most visited site in the whole of Italy the Sistine Chapel. Our Skip-the-Line Sistine Chapel & Vatican Highlights Guided Tour was a true highlight of our trip to Rome — and that’s entirely thanks to our guide, Francesco. He was personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that kept our group of 8 engaged and entertained throughout the entire experience. Francesco didn’t just know the facts — he brought the history, art, and architecture of the Vatican to life with passion and clarity. Every stop had purpose, every story had depth, and he made even the most crowded areas feel accessible and special. As a wheelchair user, I especially appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating he was. He made sure our group stayed together and navigated the route smoothly, never making me feel like an afterthought. His care and professionalism meant the world to me. If you’re considering this tour, do yourself a favor and request Francesco by name. You’ll laugh, learn, and walk away with unforgettable memories. He’s truly one of the best guides we’ve ever had.

Our guide sara was very wonderful. However, I was very disappointed that we were not informed that the sustained chapels that we purchased was closed, and so was saint.Peter's basilica. I understand things like this happen with the Pope passing. However, we were not informed at all and all. We got to see was the Vatican museum. That is not what we paid for.
We had an amazing tour with Francesco. He was knowledgeable, kind and great with our children. This was a highlight of our trip and we would highly recommend this tour!
Francesco was our guide and he was excellent. He has over 10 years experience as a guide and it showed. He started with an explanation of the Sistine Chapel, as no talking or photos are allowed inside the chapel, so he spoke about it and used an excellent photo book to describe what and why to look for when there. The tour then begins with the Vatican Museums/Galleries, moves to Sistine Chapel and ends in St Peter’s Basilica. Being a private tour, it’s easy to hear everything, ask questions but also get a personal touch. Our families being of Italian origin, when in the gallery of maps, Francesco pointed out the paintings of our ancestors regions and we were able to look for the towns they came from. That personal touch and the knowledge made this tour one of the highlights of our trip for me and would highly recommend.
Sara’s knowledge was great. We knew what to look for and how to identify the art in Sistine Chapel where she is not allowed to talk. The whole tour experience was well worth the cost - skipped the line, just the 4 of us in our private group. Sara was an excellent guide.
Francesco is a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the Vatican museum, the Sistine Chapel and all the art and artifacts within. We are so grateful for this guided tour. It made our visit much more pleasurable to be able to learn and understand that great works of art and their history.
I highly recommend a private tour. Our guide, Julia was fantastic. She gave us a high level background of the Vatican before starting our tour which was very helpful. Being able to skip the line was key as the line to get in was enormous.
Really enjoyable experience. Our tour guide Alessandra was very knowledgeable and was always enthusiastic to explain anything we asked. A wonderful experience due to her being the guide. Thanks again.
Tomas was AMAZING. He tailored our tour of the Vatican to interest our teen-age sons (who are normally bored by museums). They are two very different people but he "read" them very well and made the tour interesting and fun for both of them. We (parents) had fun too. Highly, highly recommend Tomas.
