- Please note that on rare occasions, St. Peter’s Basilica will close without notice. In this case, a 2.5-hour tour will be offered inside the Vatican Museums. Unfortunately, since this is something we cannot control or predict, we cannot issue any refunds.
- One Wednesdays, Easter, Christmas and other religious holidays and feasts, St. Peter’s Basilica will be closed. In this case, a 2.5 hour tour will be offered inside the Vatican Museums instead.
- Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes and keep your shoulders and knees covered! The Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica maintains a strict dress code year-round.
- The Vatican and St. Peter’s also have strict security restrictions. Due to metal detectors at the entrances of most attractions, it is forbidden to bring the following:
- Weapons and blunt objects (i.e. knives, umbrellas, etc.)
- Glass bottles or sprays
- Bicycles, skates, segways, luggage and pets
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any special needs, please contact us directly before booking so that we may be able to accommodate.
- Make sure you arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled tour time
- This tour takes place every day except for Sunday and Festivities

Alfredo was an amazing guide who made the experience fun, interesting, and engaging. Vatican City can be very crowded, however, entry was smooth and quick. I would recommend this to families with children, group tours, or anyone who wants to get in and out. The tour was around 2-3 hours; however, I felt Alfredo really took his time and did not rush the visit. Admission was around $95, but it was so worth it for all we got. Would 100% use again!
Well worth the price, especially with Alfred as our guide. Incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. He made this a trip to remember.

What do you hope to have in a tour guide when you visit Rome? Alfredo not only takes you on journey of Rome, but he makes you feel Roman while doing it. Alfy will help you to walk as a Patrician, skipping Plebeian lines, and zipping by commoners who have spent time and money, waiting for hrs in miserable cues. Alfredo has a knack for connecting his clients with the history, and making the connections relatable in a modern term. Highly recommend Edan Walks. 10/10
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of touring with Alfredo for two days. We visited the Colosseum on day one and the Vatican museums the next. The wealth of knowledge Alfredo had to share made this a rich and meaningful experience. I simply cannot recommend him enough. Professional and enjoyable experience that made our trip special.

Alfredo is so knowledgeable and friendly and he elevated the tour to feel like we were chatting with a friend rather than listening to an educational tour guide. I took a guided tour of the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel. It was a unique experience, full of beauty and charm. Museums are true treasures, and the Sistine Chapel is simply stunning.
