- Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 luggage. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable
- Delays or diverted arrivals: In case of flight or train delays or if your arrival is diverted to a different airport or station, the customer must inform Discover Italy as soon as possible in order to check the possibility to wait or reschedule the service without extra costs. If Discover Italy is not available to wait or reschedule due to operational reasons and no timely communication is received, the service may be considered a no-show, and no refund will be due.
- General information: According to Italian law, it is strictly forbidden to place luggage inside the passenger compartment. In case of extra or oversized baggage that does not fit in the trunk, the driver may refuse the service for safety reasons and no refund will be due. Any additional costs incurred due to extra baggage (e.g. upgrading to a larger vehicle, second vehicle, storage) will be borne by the passengers and must be paid on the spot. In the event of malfunction, technical failure or damage, the assigned vehicle may be replaced with another of the same or higher category/quality level.
- Contact details and meet & greet: To ensure smooth meet & greet operations, we strongly recommend that at least one participant provides a mobile phone number that is active and reachable in Italy (ideally the same number entered at the time of booking). We also highly recommend downloading and using the WhatsApp messaging app, which allows our ground staff and drivers to contact you quickly in case of any changes, delays or difficulties in locating each other. Discover Italy cannot be held responsible if passengers are unable to meet our staff or driver at the agreed meeting point due to being unreachable or not answering calls/messages.
- Important – Transfer options and routes: Many of our transfer services offer different route options (for example: city center, specific areas, ports or nearby towns) in order to let you book the solution that best matches your travel needs. Please carefully check the options and notes provided in the product description before completing your booking, to make sure you select and pay for the correct route and vehicle type for your journey.
- For Internationl Arrivals at FCO Airport driver will reach the airport 40 minutes after the landing flight time in order in order to avoid you losing almost all of the 60 minutes included in the free waiting time available to you
- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) – Is this a round-trip transfer? No. Each booking is for a one-way transfer only on the date you select. – If it’s a one-way transfer, why am I asked to provide both arrival and departure details? Our system is used for different types of transfers (arrivals and departures), and we are not able to predict which option you will choose. For this reason, the form may ask for more details than strictly necessary. Feel free to provide only the information that is relevant for your transfer (for example, your arrival flight or train number). Where a field is not applicable, you can simply enter “N/A”. – If I need a round-trip transfer, what should I do? You can easily book a round-trip by making two separate bookings, one for each travel date (outbound and return). – What time will I be picked up from my hotel? The time you select during the booking process will be considered as your requested pick-up time. If you are not sure which time to choose (for example in relation to your flight/train departure), you can contact us before booking and we will be happy to assist you in choosing the most suitable pick-up time. – I selected a pick-up time later than my flight/train arrival time. Is that OK? No. Our ground staff monitors your scheduled arrival time in real time and your driver will meet you based on the original arrival time of your flight or train. Remember that you already have complimentary waiting time included in the price: up to 60 minutes for airport arrivals up to 15 minutes for train station arrivals This is usually more than enough in Italy for passport control and luggage collection, so please always select the time slot closest to your actual scheduled arrival time, not later.

We had a Wonderful experience, our driver was on time, he was friendly and got us safely to our location.
Very easy. Driver met us with a sign at the airport. Seamless transportation to our AirBB. Driver provided water and candy.
Nice car. Driver arrived early and notified me as soon as he arrived. He assisted with my bags and got me to the airport with plenty of time to spare. My only issue was he dropped me off at the far end of the terminal and when I questioned it, he seemed to be a little bothered by it. Other than that I have no complaints.

Francesco was an excellent taxi driver. He was waiting outside our apt. when we went outside. Francesco was a very prompt, courteous and safe driver. Very clean taxi van. Highly recommend Francesco!
The driver met us on time at the airport, helped with our bags and got us through heavy traffic to the train station so we could catch our yrain

I’m not one to typically post negative reviews, but I’m also a very cautious traveler, so hopefully this review can help someone like me: Turns out they had sent us a WhatsApp with our pick up location that delivered the day after our scheduled pick up, despite previously communicating exclusively through the Viator app. Our driver did not show up at confirmed pick up point shown on Viator app. So we called provided number and spoke to customer service twice and were told the driver had parked at a best western, over half a mile away (not confirmed pick up point in the app). We then were told to go to the main train station exit, waited there for 20 minutes, tried to call again twice and got voicemail so ultimately decided to take cab after hour of searching. No point in paying convenience of a private transfer when they don’t even show up where they’re supposed to. I do think their customer service tried to help us as much as they possibly could, but the driver did not communicate effectively through the app, and we were unable to find him at any sort of convenient pick up point when there were hundreds of cabs available instead. We were able to get a cab in less than five minutes for 1/3 of the cost.
Dear, you were notified the day before of the meeting point with the driver upon arrival of the train at Termini station. You did not read our WhatsApp message and took the opposite exit. We were in contact with you to explain where to go since vehicles cannot park in Termini station, you refused saying you were tired. We asked you to stop at the via Giolitti exit and that the driver would go there on foot but you decided to take a taxi and leave. We already sent by email the GPS of the vehicle stopped waiting for you, the message and calls to you and the photo that the driver was there and you refused to meet him, is not correct what do you write here after our kindness. In any case, we remain available for any other trip to Italy, we would be happy to welcome you. Best regards
