Itinerary
You’ll stroll through the bustling Piazza Navona, named the most beautiful square in Italy, which houses three magnificent fountains including the famous Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) by Bernini. Piazza Navona is also one of the liveliest squares of Rome with several quaint outdoor restaurants and cafes.
The Fountain of the Four Rivers in Rome's Piazza Navona, crafted by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, showcases allegorical statues representing four major rivers from different continents. Its grand design reflects the Baroque flair for drama and detail.
Continue walking among the city’s wonders, and explore the Pantheon - This magnificent building is considered the most well-preserved ancient temple in the world and the most amazing architectural structure of the ancient world. Michelangelo was so impressed with the Pantheon that when he saw it for the first time, he proclaimed it of "angelic and not of human design"
Via del Corso is a bustling main artery in Rome's historic center, known for its shops and lively atmosphere. It stretches from Piazza Venezia to Piazza del Popolo and is a popular spot for shopping and casual strolls.
Via Condotti is Rome's premier shopping street, located near the Spanish Steps. Known for its luxury boutiques and high-end brands, it is a hub for fashion and lifestyle, blending modern allure with classic Roman architecture
Everyone who comes to Rome must visit the Spanish Steps - the "5th Avenue" of Rome - where all the world's top designers have set up shop. Take in the magnificent view of Rome from the top of the steps, then stroll down Via Condotti, at the base of the Spanish steps, which is one of the most famous places to shop in the world. All while learning the Spanish Steps history.
The Barcaccia Fountain, nestled at the foot of the Spanish Steps in Rome, is a unique, boat-shaped structure attributed to Pietro Bernini and his son, Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Shaped like a sinking ship, this early Baroque fountain commemorates the tragic flooding of the Tiber River in 1598 and supplies passersby with fresh drinking water as it has since its creation in the 17th century.
The largest and most famous fountain in Italy (seen in Fellini's La Dolce Vita movie), ensuring that you will one day return to Rome. Learn the secrets that the fountain holds.

Renata was an excellent guide. She spoke fluent English and was very easy to understand. We got to know her and she us as well. She was a professional and had the knowledge and understanding of history and communicated that to us plainly. She answered all our questions without difficulty and we did throw her some tough ones. Do not hesitate to take the tour with her. She even pointed out possible other historical sites we may be interested in. She had a very good pace for us. Knowing when to pause and discuss things in more detail and when it was appropriate to move on. Amazing how much we saw and learned from her as well.
Your recommendation means a great deal to us. Thank you for placing your trust in CityEyes, and we'll make sure Renata receives your thoughtful words. Grazie, e arrivederci! Renata, and the CityEyes Team

We toured the Colosseum with Katie a few days before this tour, so we were familiar with her and were looking forward to learning from her again. She met us promptly at our hotel to begin our early morning exploring. We loved the early morning start to avoid the heat of the day and the crowds! The walking tour did not disappoint! Katie is highly knowledgeable, and she taught us a lot of extra tidbits and history along the way as we went from attraction to attraction.
Grazie for joining Katie again. We're so glad the early start and her insights made the morning feel special and relaxed. Katie & The Eyes of Rome Team
