As your Vespa tour through Rome's city center nears its end, Francesco will take you to your final stop: the iconic Trevi Fountain. Approaching the fountain, you will be struck by the sheer size and grandeur of the structure. The fountain is massive, with intricate carvings and sculptures that tell the story of the Roman god Oceanus and his sea horses. You will learn about the tradition of throwing a coin over your shoulder into the fountain, which is said to bring good luck and ensure that you'll return to Rome one day. You will take a moment to toss a coin into the fountain, hoping that the legend is true and that you'll have the chance to return to this beautiful city someday. As your Vespa tour will come to a close, you will reflect on the incredible journey you've had through the heart of Rome. From the stunning monuments and landmarks to the rich cultural heritage of the city, you've experienced a side of Rome that few tourists get to see.

10 min

The Spanish Steps are renowned for their picturesque beauty and are famous all over the world. As you climb each step, you will be surrounded by history and the stunning architecture of Rome. From the top of the Spanish Steps, you'll be able to take in the beauty of the city from a whole new perspective. Marvel at the panoramic views of Rome's iconic landmarks, including the charming streets, ancient ruins, and historic buildings.

You will arrive at Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in the city. The square is built on the site of the ancient Domitian stadium, and it's filled with history and culture. You will be immediately strucked by the stunning Fountain of the Four Rivers, which takes center stage in the middle of the square. The fountain was designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, one of the most famous artists in Italian history, and it's a true masterpiece of Baroque art. As you will approach the fountain, you can see the intricate details of the four figures representing the great rivers of the world - the Nile, the Danube, the Ganges, and the Rio de la Plata. Each figure is expertly crafted, and you can't help but be impressed by the artistry and skill that went into creating them. Francesco will tell you more about the history of the fountain and its significance to the city, sharing fascinating stories about Bernini.

The Castel Sant’Angelo Rome was originally built as the tomb of Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD. This mausoleum was eventually converted into a military fortress that protected Rome during the Middle Ages. Since then, it has served as the Papal Residence, a prison during the Renaissance era and now, as one of Rome’s museums. Other than serving as a repository of historical information, it is a site of immense cultural value that houses many sculptures, architecture, frescoes, and more.

10 min

If you're lucky enough to book the morning tour at 12 o'clock, Francesco will take you to witness an incredible spectacle - the cannon shot on top of the Janiculum. The cannon shot is a daily tradition that dates back to the 19th century, when it was used to synchronize the clocks of the city. As you approach the Janiculum, you can feel the excitement building. Francesco explains the history of the cannon shot and its significance to the city. When the moment arrives, you hear the loud boom of the cannon, and you watch as the smoke clears to reveal a breathtaking view of Rome. From the top of the Janiculum, you can see all of the city's main monuments, from the Colosseum to the Pantheon to St. Peter's Basilica. The view is truly magnificent, and you feel like you're on top of the world. You'll never forget the feeling of standing atop the hill, looking out over the city, and feeling like you're a part of its rich history and culture.

10 min

Francesco will take you to one of the most breathtaking fountain in all of Rome - the Fontanone. Located at the top of the Janiculum hill, the Fontanone offers a panoramic view of the entire city. As you will approach the Fontanone, the beauty of the view takes your breath away. You can see the winding Tiber River, the dome of the Pantheon, and the majestic VIttoriano in the distance. Francesco will park the red Vespa, and you take a moment to soak in the view. It's truly one of the best panoramic views of Rome, and you will feel grateful to be experiencing it in such a unique way. Francesco then will offer to take a picture of you with your trusty red Vespa against the stunning backdrop of the Fontanone. You eagerly strike a pose, feeling like a true Roman as the camera clicks.

10 min

Imagine cruising through the winding streets of Trastevere on the saddle of your own vibrant red Vespa. The sun is shining down on you, casting a warm glow over the pastel-colored palaces and cobblestone roads. As you weave through the backstreets, you feel the breeze in your hair and the excitement of adventure in your heart. As you explore the neighborhood, you can't help but be awestruck by the beauty of the colorful flowers in bloom. The scent of the blossoms fills the air, and you feel like you've been transported to a romantic movie set. The locals bustle about their daily routines, but you and Francesco are in your own world, free to explore and discover. The ambiance is electric, and you feel like a true Roman as you soak up the atmosphere. By the end of your ride, you'll feel like you've truly experienced the essence of Rome. Best way to see Rome

Our second time doing a tour with these guys. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Great fun and without doubt the best way to see Rome. Forget the sightseeing bus, these guys will get you round every landmark in a fraction of the time but without rushing you and are really informative.

Amazing Vespa Tour

Our Vespa tour with Francesco was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we met him, he was warm, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable. He shared so much history, local secrets, and fun stories that brought every stop to life. Riding through the city on a Vespa with him felt like experiencing Italy the way the locals do, exciting, authentic, and full of charm. Francesco made sure we were safe the entire time, but still gave us the thrill and adventure we were looking for. The views, the hidden spots, and the way he explained everything made this experience truly special. You can tell he loves what he does, and his passion made the tour even better. If you’re thinking about booking a Vespa tour, do it, and ask for Francesco! It was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend! 🇮🇹🛵✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience!

I had the most incredible time on this Vespa tour in Rome! My guide Francesco was so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating — he really went above and beyond to make the experience special. I had a Colosseum tour scheduled afterwards, and he was kind enough to adjust our route so I could see other amazing sights and still get dropped off right at my next meeting point. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how kind and thoughtful he was — he took great photos for me at each stop, which made the memories even better. I learned so much, saw incredible views, and had so much fun along the way. I’d absolutely do this again next time I’m in Rome. Highly recommend!

Spectacularrrr!

It was a wonderful experience. Francesco is a fun guide, guiding us safely through Rome and livening up the trip with his sense of humor. The tour lasts over three hours. The Vespas are automatic, the new model, not the classic ones with gears. Without a doubt, I would not only recommend it, but I would do it again.

Super fun and exhilarating jaunt through Rome.

Super fun and exhilarating jaunt through Rome. Like nothing you've ever done before! Well led by Francesco, and safety & pocrssions secured by his "rear guard" (on his Vespa), makes for a safe, adventuresome experience. Just pay attention to the precautions clearly listed, and don't assume you can command a Vespa thru Rome because you can ride a bicycle. You do need a MC license endorsement AND an Intl Drivers Permit (AAA), AND some Mcycling experience to safely do this. But it's a blast if you qualify!

The best Rome Vespa tour

This tour was seriously amazing. We highly recommend this tour as the first activity you do in Rome. This tour will take you to all the major sites in Rome and some of the best views you didn’t know to visit. Don’t think about it, just book it! Francesco was the best guide taking us through the cobbled back roads of Rome to get us from site to site giving us a different feel for the city. He was engaging and funny and very knowledgeable. He was also very accommodating to my family. My sister booked the self-drive option but was scammed when she applied online for her international driving permit - they didn’t give her a legit permit. He searched for a driver for her but wasn’t able to get one to come that day so he kindly let us reschedule our activity for the following day so we wouldn’t be split up. He didn’t have to do that, but he did. This is one of the first activities we’ve done on our Italy trip but we seriously think this will be tough to beat.
