We did this full day tour and it was amazing!! Our guide, Andrea, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information we didn’t know. It was just wonderful. We had 5 children with us and he made the tour fun and engaging for them. Plus he was such a nice person. Having the transportation included was a huge plus as well. We all loved it. Do not hesitate to book this, it was just wonderful!
Our tour guide, Andrea, was awesome. He was able to answer all of our questions and gave us some excellent recommendations.
It was okay. Would have liked more time at the Vatican. Felt rushed at times and other times waited.
Dear Mrs. Jill, Thank you very much for appreciating our services! I investigated with the staff before giving you an answer. The tour is meticulously planned to work smoothly if we follow the schedule. It is crucial to start the tour on time. Your 25-minute delay meant that we had less time inside the Vatican than usual. The Colosseum slot has a strict 15-minute delay policy, so there is no room for flexibility there. On the positive side, entering later allowed you to take a longer route and see more, albeit quickly. As you may have noticed, site guards often regulate visitors' flow, closing and reopening paths. Concerning your whish to see more, I recommend that those who desire to see all the Vatican rooms consider dedicating an entire day to the experience. Additionally, we addressed the mobility issues encountered by one of the guests, and we arranged for an extra transfer from the restaurant since it wasn't included in your package and walking to the Colosseum was not feasible. I advise informing the tour operators about any special requirements in advance for a smoother experience. Hoping to have you among our guests in the future, we will be happy to plan a nice day inside the Vatican with a lunch breack inside.
Excellent experience! Timely, vehicles were meticulously clean, staff were very professional. Even lunch was amazing!
Andy was a kind very knowledgeable guide. I have mobility issue and he made every effort to accommodate. He was able to answer every question about the Vatican and Coliseum. We opted to skip the Forum and he found a cafe where I could sit until the driver arrived. Skipping to the head of the line on a very hot day was also a plus. An expensive trip that was well worth the cost.
Andy was wonderful. Very well versed in art archeology and the history of Rome. We saw everything we were hoping to see and more all within the time allotted.
Hello Robert! Andy is an excellent guide and caring person. I am happy it made a difference in your vacation! We are very grateful when our guests share their experiences with other travelers, so accept my apology for this late reply! We hope you will trust Viators tours again in the future!
