We were disappointed by our tour experience. It did not meet the Viator standards we have come to know. Our tour guide was late because we changed our pickup location with Viator the previous day. He seemed irritated that the location had changed. He didn’t know which sites we should see and didn’t offer suggestions. We had to tell him the places we knew about - Colosseum, St Peter’s, etc. He was able to drive us into limited-access areas and drop us off, so that was helpful. But he wasn’t able to tell us information about the sights we saw. We googled them along the way so we would know what we were seeing. He was basically a 400-Euro taxi driver. We’ll just hire a taxi next time.

We would however like to clarify that this experience is described and sold as a private panoramic tour with an English-speaking driver, and not with a licensed tour guide. The purpose of the experience is to comfortably explore Rome by night with private transportation, flexibility, and access to areas that are often difficult to reach independently. We also sincerely apologize for the delayed arrival at pickup. The pickup location change communicated shortly before the tour unfortunately created some confusion, but we regret if this affected the beginning of your evening. Our drivers are always happy to suggest highlights and provide general local information during the drive, although they are not licensed guides and therefore do not provide in-depth historical guiding services comparable to a guided walking tour. We nevertheless appreciate your comments, as guest feedback helps us continue improving both communication and guest expectations regarding the format of the experience. After a day seeing several other sights in Rome, this was a perfect way to start an evening in Rome! Our guide was excellent and really made this an enjoyable way to get around the city during a beautiful sunset, seeing the city from a very different vantage point. Fun, relaxing, and very informative with a personal touch provided by our guide who picked us up at our hotel. Highly recommend!

Driver was late; then we felt rushed and he seemed in such in a hurry to finish.,I gave a list of desired things to see but he said we don’t have time for that. Not a good value……. Next time ask for Maximilian for your guide!

I want us to receive reimbursement/refund. I have done this tour last year with a good history given. This time, the driver could not speak English. We paid so much money for a private tour in English as was stated and driver, how could you possibly give us a non English speaking driver and imagine to dare give us a chance to review? This was the worst tour I have ever done! He tried. But you set all of us up for a failure.

We were so fortunate to get up close to the main photo stops. City center was packed with people and cars and our driver found the way to get up close. It was amazing that we didn’t have to walk more than 10 steps. What a wonderful evening
