Loves the quick group entry, bypassing long lines. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared great historical information. We only did the Colloseum portion of the tour so I can only speak to that part of the tour. Collloseum was crowded and our tour guide did his best to share information but we were unable to view the pictures he shared on an iPad due to our group size and crowds. The Colloseum was amazing and a must do in Rome!
This whole experience was wonderful. We couldn’t find the meeting point and they took the time to send someone to find us so we could make the tour. Our guide was so so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She explained the history to my children in a way that got them interested in the stories behind the monuments. Fantastic tour would totally recommend.
The tour of the Coliseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill was excellent. However, it is called a “sunset tour” but they moved the time of our tour from 5:30pm to 3:30pm. Luckily we were there in time but how can it be called a sunset tour? And then they removed the stop at the Trevi fountain. Still just as much $. That was disappointing.
Great tour, Georgia was very informative. If you want the history, she is your guide. Funny, pleasant, and a wealth of knowledge. Only wish it moved along faster, but with so many crowds, you stand too much.
First it was moved from yesterday to today (which ended being a very busy day due to the Jubilee)... it started earlier than advertised and there was no sunset to be seen. The fountain was so packed and the guide just said OK there it is "good luck". Additionally there was no pizza tasting!
My husband and I visited Rome for the second time and thought we would do something different. We chose the night tour at the Colosseum and Roman Forum since it had been very hot the past couple of weeks. Really glad we did this tour because Mateo was an amazing story teller with so many fun facts about the city. It gave us an even deeper appreciation for ancient Roman architecture and history. You meet at their office prior to the tour and they have pizza, champagne and other refreshments. Wear comfortable shoes as you walk through the Roman Forum and then to the Colosseum. Also, be cautious of where you walk because there are some places with uneven ground. Very easy to be hypnotized by what you hear from Mateo and what you see around you. There was a different guardian/guide at the Colosseum who gave us great insight on what it was like being a spectator for the “games” at the Colosseum. We were 1 of 2 private groups of 25 at night roaming the underground passageways where the gladiators and wild animals waited for their turn. It was a such a cool experience and I HIGHLY recommend it.
Hello, Joshua! Thank you for enjoying our tour and for describing it so beautifully!
