Amazing experience, smooth pick up and drop off. Best way to see all of Rome if you don’t feel like walking around, or you can’t walk around. It might seem daunting at first, but once you get over that initial hurdle it a lot of fun.
Perfect way to get around Rome in a day and on your own schedule!!!! Location to pick up golf cart was easy to find, very fast to pick up and get on your way !
Google maps took us to the wrong location about a block away from the parking garage where the pickup point is located. Once we found the location the host was fabulous. The golf cart itself was an older cart and lots of rattles. It had lots of pep but the suspension revealed the poor quality of the roads. We had a great time driving around and around the same area trying to navigate the roads and alleyways.
Easy to use and get to. Thank you very memorable! We were able to see so much and it saved not only our feet but our kids!
During our 4 day trip to Rome we rented this golf cart for a day (5p in total). To find the adress we had to check twice and ask where exactly to rent the golf cart as it is partly in the Parking garage across the street from Hotel Eden. Welcomed by a very friendly lady, unfortunately not speaking English but with the SayHi app good enough explanation about the cart. The cart is easy to drive (automatic), Max speed 30k/hr and best part is the funny claxon for busy streets making every head turn and laugh. Despite barely any suspension on bumpy Roma roads and brakes as they are not very direct, i had too much fun driving this cart. The lady was right about ‘Rome being a Casino’ on the road haha. Would not recommend the beginner driver as it can be really hectic in traffic. Parking can be a challenge, its free to park on blue parking spots which is quite busy in all of Rome. Easy access to the centre and ability to drive closely past historical sights. Recommendations besides the highlights are also the viewpoints and small streets in the centre of Rome (Trastavere). Overall my sisters, mother, grandmother and especially me had a great time in the golf cart! So much fun to explore Rome by yourself. Ton
thanks, I apologize if the lady does not speak English grazie
We arrived at the pick up at Parcheggio Ludovisi. There wasn’t a number of the address on the reservation form and luckily we guessed correctly. There was a nice woman waiting for us to arrive. She was the BEST, unfortunately I can’t remember her name. She was so sweet she even gave us a blanket for my husband to use because it was a little chilly in December. She pulled the golf cart out onto the street to make it easier for us to leave. We had a great time, next time we are in Rome we will do it again and next ti e with a guide.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful personal 3 hour tour with David. Our golf cart driver David was excellent taking us to not only that major attractions and sites but to other places not mentioned in the description of the tour. David spoke very good English and I spoke very bad Italian. Thank you very much for a fantastic day in Rome David. Your Sicilian friend from the USA.
It was wonderful to go where we wanted to go at our own pace. We saw places we might not have seen. Don’t be afraid of the traffic, use hand signals as well as blinker and definitely have someone in the group with GPS so you can find your way. I also suggest you make a list of where you want to go and plan your route from there. Wonderful!!!!
