Description
We start our journey on the famous "Pink street" and then we go up to Largo of the great Portuguese poet Camões, where we can feel the life of downtown Lisbon in Largo do Carmo. We observe the Church of São Roque and go up to see Lisbon through the viewpoint of São Pedro de Âlcantara. We continue the tour through Bairro Alto, one of the typical neighborhoods of Lisbon. We stopped to observe the magnificent Basilica da Estrela, built on top of a hill. We end with a visit to Jardim da Estrela, one of Lisbon's favorites. Officially it is known as Rua Nova do Carvalho, but the name Rua Cor de Rosa emerged after an urban intervention project in 2011.
At this point of our tour, we will pass through the iconic Largo do Carmo, where the history of Lisbon comes to life. Here, our guide will share fascinating stories about the Carmo Convent, one of the city’s most iconic monuments, founded in the 14th century.
The Church of São Roque is a Catholic church in Lisbon, dedicated to São Roque and built at the end of the 16th century, with the collaboration of Afonso Álvares and Bartolomeu Álvares. When passing by this church our guide will reveal all its secrets.
At this point of our tour, we stop at the stunning Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, one of Lisbon’s most iconic miradours. Set in one of the highest points of the city, this viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views of the Baixa, the Castle of St. George and the Cathedral of the See.
As we arrive at the majestic Basilica of the Star, prepare to be engaged by its neoclassical beauty and the fascinating history surrounding it. This iconic church, inaugurated in the late 18th century, was built in honor of Queen Mary I, who made a vow in thanksgiving for the birth of her son.

- We provide tuk tuks with capacity for 4 or 6 people. The main difference, in addition to the number of seats, is that in the 4 seat tuk tuks all seats are facing the front, while in the 6 seats the seats are facing the front. If you have any preference, please let us know in advance.

We made a TukTuk tour of Lisbon with Hugo and we simply couldn’t have been more satisfied! From the first minute, Hugo was super friendly, attentive and full of good disposition. This was fun! Guide Jose was an experienced and cheerful guide. This was a great way to orient ourselves to this beautiful city on our first day here. Wish we had booked a longer two hour tour so we could have also gone to the older part of town with him.

I recently made a tuktuk tour through Lisbon’s Christmas lights and the experience was simply charming! The guide Hugo was fantastic: super friendly, attentive and with an excellent knowledge about the city and the Christmas traditions. He took us through some of the most iconic spots, all stunningly lit, and even shared interesting stories about the history of Lisbon. The tuktuk is a very fun and comfortable way to explore the decorated streets, and the festive atmosphere of the city, with the lights and animation made the experience even more magical!
