The tour starts at the Colosseum, a masterpiece of Roman engineering and the largest amphitheatre of the ancient world. This enormous arena boasted 80 entrances and had a capacity of more than 50,000 spectators.
After the Colosseum, you will progress to the Forum, the epicentre of life in Ancient Rome. Around this square are the ruins of the Senate House, the Temple of Vesta, the Temple of Saturn, the Altar of the Divine Julius Caesar, the Temple of Gemini, the Basilica Emilia, the Arch of Septimius Severus and much more.
The final stop on the tour will be the Palatine Hill where the temples of the most important Roman gods were once located. You will also see the stunning square designed by Michelangelo as well as the Statue of Marcus Aurelius. Skip the lines is right! Spend more time meditating on the awesome artwork and artifacts that is Rome. This tour was well worth the ticket. Definitely splurged on a taxi to return after so much walking.
This was a very nice tour. I had heard about the dense crowds and being rushed through the areas of interest, it did not feel rushed at all on this tour. Our guide was Ukrainian but has lived in Rome over 20 years and has done his homework. Very knowledgeable and spoke very clear English. The headsets made it easy to hear regardless of where one was in relation to the guide.
Faby was our guide and spectacular. She really knew her history and material well. She gave us all the particulars of the Colosseum and was very informative. We had a great time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Cracking 3 hour tour of the colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Alba the tour guide was very passionate and informative. Well worth the money!!
Giovianni was an amazing guide and the private tour was worth every cent. He was very informative and we learned exciting niche facts about the gladiators and the underground system of the colosseum. Skipping the line was a must and we were able to see 5x more than if we were alone.
Today we had the wonderful good fortune of taking a tour of the Coliseum, Forum and Palatine with Lucina. Her knowledge of the subjects matter and skill in sharing that knowledge was both refreshing and inspiring.
