Francesca was good, but not great. Was a bit scattered about, especially in the beginning. Knew how to get in and around very well, and what she wanted to show us. Biggest item: we tried to ask questions a bunch of times but she just kept talking and stayed on her own agenda. We expected more for our very private tour. English was fine. Use of books/photos to explain concepts was very helpful. Nuances of Raphael's paintings and Michaelangelo's rivalry was illuminating. Explanation of how the Vatican came to be on the other side of the Tiber was illuminating.
