Nuno Dias was our guide and did an amazing job. He was extremely knowledgeable of all things associated with Lisbon and the arribida natural park. He was willing to allow us to take our time at each location. The views and the beaches were amazing. We would highly recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful day with Nuno exploring Arrábida and Sesimbra. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable for our family. Nuno shared interesting history and local tips while also giving us plenty of time to enjoy the views and atmosphere at our own pace. The itinerary was well thought out, and he made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the trip. Highly recommend this tour and Nuno as a guide!
Nuno was a great guide we had a lovely time. He was very knowledgeable on all our stops and easy to be with all day. Easy pick up and drop off.
Great way to get out of Lisbon and see the beautiful coastline on the peninsula. Very few other tourists compared to other Lisbon area tours. Guide was very knowledgeable and willing to customize our trip to focus on places we wanted to go that were more nature oriented Overall a very fun and enjoyable day with John our guide.
Tour of the most iconic viewpoints of the Serra da Arrábida, including the castle of Sesimbra with its magnificent church, lined with tiles, captivating landscapes like the Serra do Risco, refuges from past centuries as witnessed by the San Francisco convent, views to lose in the Atlantic Ocean sprinkled with hidden beaches, sand banks where intimate escapades are given, staff, it is simply a place to discover and never want to get out of there again!
Me and my husband took this day trip. I have to tell you that this trip was one of the best we ever had. Our guide Tiado was very accommodating which created unforgettable experience for us. We accomplished so much during the day and even visited the winery and wine tasting which was not initially included in this trip. we took our time to stop by at every place planned for this trip and stopped to have a swim on one of the most gorgeous beaches in Portugal. Finally Tiado took us to the Christ the King monument with the most breathtaking view. Needless to say, after the trip, we were overwhelmed with the beauty of this country and warmth of the people we met. Tiado is one of them: warm, and knowledgeable and easy going! I highly recommend this tour - the places we visited are not overwhelmed with tourists. You will have a chance to see and experience this beautiful country just for you...Enjoy
My husband and I took a private tour because we were with our 2-year-old and needed some flexibility. Raquel C. was our tour guide and I cannot recommend her enough. Her knowledge of Portugal's history as well as her knowledge of art history truly enriched our day. We came away with a greater understanding of the country and its lovely people. The private tours are not inexpensive and if we could have, we would have loved to see more of Portugal with Raquel as our guide. Definitely hope to do more tours with her the next time we visit!
My friend and I spent the day with Raquel as our private guide. She had so much knowledge and was able to answer all of our questions about the history of Portugal. She was really friendly and took the time to show us everything we wanted to see. While there was a general itinerary, we were able to choose how long we wanted to spend in each area. I would definitely recommend this trip! The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beach is not quite as idyllic as pictured above - but it was still a very nice beach and we enjoyed our time relaxing on it.
If you want to be blown away by the beauty and majesty of the area around Lisbon, do this tour! My wife and I had this tour booked with another guide but he was ill so at the very last moment, Gloria stepped in to keep the company's commitment to us. We were impressed because that's not her usual role -- but maybe it should be! She was absolutely great. Gloria was able to show us a ton of very picturesque spots that had both my wife and me snapping pics left and right. We appreciated her knowledge personal stories about all the locations we visited. The day ended too quickly but left us with so many pleasant memories.
I'm still buzzing. I leave this review with a big smile on my face! As part of a hen do weekend we decided to book a day trip with "around lisbon tours" and it was the best thing we did. Gil and his team really went the extra mile to ensure that we (10 girls) have an unforgettable experience. Our guides, Rui and Pedro, were very passionate about their country and jobs which was just a breath of fresh air. They shared a lot of knowledge with us! Beside the wine tasting and dolphin watch tour (highlight of our whole weekend! It's so worth it - we saw approx. 30 of them and they were just really majestic and very playful), they showed us some wonderful beaches, view points and a breathtaking monastery. Also "Sado Emotion" went above and beyond for our Dolphin tour on a speed boat. They even prepared quite a few surprises for our bride to be which was very kind and thoughtful. Overall it was a perfect day and we are so grateful to had a chance to experience this. Thanks again for delivering a first class experience! I can highly recommend this tour and will use "around lisbon tours" again when we return later this year for a 2nd visit with the family.
