This tour was such a nice surprise. We wanted to do something different from the usual sightseeing in Lisbon, and this ended up being one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The tile painting workshop was a lovely experience. It felt personal and creative, and it was great to take home something we had actually made ourselves instead of just another souvenir. The wine tasting was also very enjoyable, and the stop in Sesimbra gave the day a beautiful coastal feeling. What we liked most was the variety. In one day we got local culture, traditional crafts, wine, sea views, good food, and some really beautiful scenery. It never felt rushed, and the whole experience had a relaxed, local atmosphere. The guide made everything feel easy and well organized, while still keeping the day personal and flexible. It felt like a genuine way to discover a different side of Portugal, not just a standard tour. Highly recommend this if you want something authentic, creative, and a bit more meaningful than a normal day trip.

We had a few issues in the run-up to the booking - cancelled a few weeks out by mistake; a problem with the vehicle the day before so moved to the day after; then another vehicle problem on the day and two hours late being picked up. Once we got going it was a fantastic day out, and our guide Diogo was awesome. He was full of knowledge and very easy to get on with. We enjoyed a tile painting session, lunch in Sesimbra, the best coastal view I’ve ever seen, and tasting a lot of wines! Would advise booking with him directly as he works independently. We are still waiting for our tiles to arrive. I sent two WhatsApp messages and one email to ask for confirmation and all have been ignored. Would not recommend this tour agency.

Company is unorganized and did not follow the stated program - too expensive to have these flaws. It started with me contacting the operator to schedule the pick-up spot. The person mixed up my booking and first cancelled it and then saw it was a mistake and rebooked it for me (even though I sent the person the booking number from the start). Then I asked to be contacted by the guide about time and place for pick-up. That person had a third party picking us up and guiding us through the day (there are in other words three different operators involved...). This person was one hour late for pick-up. This meant he couldn't stop in all places before the tiles workshop and he didn't bother to do it afterwards either. He was a nice person but didn't follow the program. The tiles workshop was a joke considering how it is explained in the information, the tour was maximum 10 min and the tiles guide did not help out with the workshop at all, he just left us after he had printed the pattern for the tiles. The lunch place selected by the operator was not a good option and one of us couldn't eat the food at all. The wine place was the best thing about this trip, the guide there was excellent and the tasting very organised and fun. I could not recommend this adventure for others, at least not at this price.

What a great trip! Our guide Miguel was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The stop at the tile factory was so fun - we enjoyed painting our own tiles and looking at the amazing work done by the company. The wine tasting was completely wonderful as well. Overall, this was certainly the highlight of our trip to Portugal.

Of all the activities we booked in Lisbon, this was the one I was most excited about. It had all the makings of an incredible experience—until I got sick at our very first stop. Thankfully, our amazing tour guide João came to the rescue. He was super flexible and adjusted the itinerary to make things easier. Nidia was an excellent tour guide and this tour was exactly what we were looking for! Communication was very easy prior to and our during our tour day! The wine tasting and tile making class were both great fun. I would highly recommend this tour as well as Nidia to anyone who wants to experience a small taste of Portugal outside of Lisbon!

A friend and I were staying in Lisbon for a few days and were looking to find a guided tour of the region, and we are so glad we chose this tour – it was by far the best part of our trip! Helena was incredibly considerate and well-equipped in every way – in her car, she had generous amounts of cough drops on hand for my sore throat and made sure to get my friend and I good breakfast of great pastries at the market after hearing we had not eaten yet. She also helped us pick out great gifts for our mothers! The market was brimming with extremely fresh and local produce, the views were incredible from the drive, and the lunch spot we went to was amazing, my salmon salad was so fresh! Everything we ate was delicious, and everywhere we went was beautiful, and Helena helped us make the most out of everything. Painting tiles was my favorite part, it was fun, relaxing, and educational – you visit one shop to learn how to make the tiles (where you can also buy some) and another to paint. The wine tasting was really interesting, it also included a tour of the grounds and the guide was a historian who taught us so much about both wine-making and Portuguese history. Lastly, Helena is simply a lovely person to talk to – sweet, kind, and understanding – and her knowledge of the area was really helpful in helping us plan a better trip for the days ahead. If you want to experience the beauty of Sesimbra with a local, this tour is well worth it!

Five-Star Review This tour was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Portugal! We started the day at the Mercado do Livramento, a stunning fresh market with so much to see. Then, we had the most amazing experience painting Portuguese tiles at a workshop—it was such a unique and memorable activity! Afterward, we visited a castle in Sesimbra and had lunch by the sea. The restaurant was a fantastic recommendation from our tour guide, and the food was incredible. Sesimbra is such a beautiful town; it’s so worth a visit.
