Had amazing tour for the day. Lots of sites seen. Awesome pictures. The morning started with pastries and coffee—had queijadas de Sintra and travesseiros de Sintra. Delicious. We visited Sintra, Pena Palace, Azenhas do Mar where we had lunch. It was great as the owner made the experience very special and talked about his paintings that decorated the restaurant. The food, drink, and atmosphere was great. We also went to Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and Cascais. Nidia was great and gave lots of information and history. She has great passion for her country and giving visitors a unique experience. I highly recommend her. I have tried other tours in Rome and Athens with large groups with limited information given and very generic and not personalized at all. Opting for a local and private tour with Nidia was a great decision.
Nidia is such an amazing tour guide and Yes experiences are really professional. They picked me up right on time in a nice comfortable vehicle. We explored more than what was offered in the tour package including history, beaches, food and wine. They really went above and beyond to make sure the tour was seamless. She knew all the spots to hit and some local gems that you would not find otherwise. This is more like a day with a local friend and that is what makes this experience so good. I highly recommend Yes experiences for true Portugal experience.
Ricardo led us on a small group private tour of Sintra and it was amazing. We had the BEST beachfront lunch and sunset viewing locations most tourists would never find. He was attentive and friendly, with perfect timing and snacks!
Ricardo was THE BEST tour guide. He took us to so many places that we would never get to go to on our own, including a secret spot for sunset (and opened wine and desserts for us while there), and the best restaurant with the most gorgeous views. We had the most incredible day and can’t recommend him highly enough!!
Ricardo was an amazingly knowledgeable and accommodating guide! He made our day in Sintra unforgettable- arrived at Pena Palace before the crowds, booked a wonderful seafood lunch and made sure we had a stunning view of sunset. Sunset came with a surprise of pasties and port! Absolutely recommend a tour with Ricardo!
We had a wonderful day exploring Sintra and the surrounding areas! Our tour guide Ricardo was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job showing us all of the sights and making sure we had a great day. He went out of his way to make sure the day was full with wonderful experiences and memories!
Ricardo gave us a comprehensive tour of Sintra and surrounding areas. We asked him to show us local venues and how the locals lived as we had seen many historical monuments throughout Portugal. His local knowledge was wonderful.
Highlights of Sintra with a side trip to coastal areas; personal insights shared by Antonio about life in Lisbon. Focused on things he understood we’d be interested in. Friendly, easy to be with; on his own accord went overtime to provide yet one more insight. Just a terrific experience all the way around.
