Fun biking and great history!

This was a really fun day. The biking was the most fun, along the river, probably a 45 minute ride. It was mostly flat and easy and as a family who loves to bike together , we were pleasantly surprised. Our tour guide Damien was knowledgeable, friendly, for us our pasteis de Belem with no waiting, and the boat ride back was peaceful and beautiful. This was a great way to learn about Lisbon and Belem and spend the day outdoors being active.

Lisbon city tour

Pedro Aires did an amazing job with navigating our family tour and teaching us all about the history of the city. We enjoyed the bike ride along the river! Pedro is personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for

This tour was fantastic! It is exactly what we needed. We wanted to see lots of Lisbon, see spectacular views, hear some history and explore places that only the locals know. This was perfect. You walk for a bit and then bike ride for bit and then end it with a relaxing boat ride. Pedro Aires was a super wonderful guide - very knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive and great sense of humor. We highly recommend this tour of Lisbon and spending time in the shade of the tree with Pedro.

A great tour, with a variety of activity experiences!

Our guide Pedro Aires was outstanding! His extensive knowledge combined with wonderful demeanor, made this a totally pleasurable experience. This tour involved a number of different activities, and Pedro made the transition to each experience a seamless process which allowed us to fully enjoy and capitalize the benefit of each one. I would recommend this tour and our guide to anyone that enjoys a variety of activities and historical perspective with each one.

Not as good as I expected :-(

Our experience on this tour was a bit of a disappointment. The weather was rainy and windy. It was only the two of us and our guide. The one hour + bike ride along the Tagus River, (going into a strong headwind all the way), was much more difficult than I expected- (and we routinely ride our bikes). Perhaps if we had e-bikes instead of 10 speeds, it wouldn’t have been an issue. We would have gladly paid extra for this option. The boat ride on the Tagus River never happened. We were told the last boat left before we arrived at the port. We ended up leaving our bikes at the port- and taking an uber back to our hotel. We had to wait over 20 minutes for an uber. Our guide said we would get a refund for the boat ride, but we haven’t heard anything from the tour company or Viator about how or when we might expect it.

Guided visit by John

Guided visit by John -13 March in the framework of the TIAT course. The guided tour in the Rossio area in Lisbon is a tour where you learn about history, culture and iconic architecture. João was able to introduce us to one of the most emblematic places in the city, where the past and the present mix in a unique way. From the Rossio Square, with its traditional cafes, from the D. Maria II National Theatre, the history of the old railway station, the neighborhoods, to the Alfama viewpoint, the visit provided enriching moments. In addition, knowing the Rossio’s connection with the resistance, the earthquakes and the reconstruction of Lisbon made the tour even more engaging. It was undoubtedly an unforgettable journey through the heart of the Portuguese capital! I recommend people to visit the rossio because it is one of the most vibrant places in Portugal's history, the visit becomes but lively if guided by João. Fredy Almeida

Excellent walking and boat tour

We loved the tour. Our tour guide Johnny was excellent. We thought we had booked a tour without a bike ride. Johnny was able to arrange to delete the bike ride. He is so knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and Lisbon. He told us about in an entertaining way. He also told us about some of the different neighborhoods. The tour was very enjoyable. It was well worth it. We got to try the pastel de Belem. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the tour!
