Private Istanbul Layover Tour From Airport

Tarik was an excellent guide. His knowledge of Istanbul and the history behind this city is amazing. He truly loves what he does. We were a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children under 13. He was patient and understanding. He understood our needs with our young kids and adjusted the tour accordingly. Tarik gave us great advice about safety and places to visit or be careful of. At the end he guided us to a safe taxi ride area, put us in and made sure the driver knew where to take us. It finished the day off comfortably. Thank you Tarik for your informative tour, your gentle and kind nature and for making sure we would get back to our hotel safely. We had an awesome day. The kids got in the taxi and said, "That was fun, and I'd do it again". Well.... I think that's a great review in itself. We'll be back..... until next time.... Take care Tarik.

The tour was packed with information and was educational in a great way. Our guide Tarik was very friendly and accommodating to what we wanted to see and do. He helped guide us through the different landmarks and attractions and gave us an in depth history of everything we saw. He also took us to a great restaurant for dinner. Our family stay in Istanbul in October 2025 was an absolutely exceptional experience, largely thanks to our guide ZAFER, who was simply remarkable. We had a very busy schedule and very little time on site, as we had to strictly adhere to our flight schedule. We asked him to show us as many must-see sites and places as possible in record time. Mission accomplished, and well beyond our expectations! Thanks to his perfect organization, efficiency, and extensive knowledge of the city, we were able to visit a tremendous number of places without ever feeling rushed or stressed. Everything went smoothly and pleasantly. His French is impeccable, which made the exchanges particularly easy and enriching. He is an extremely friendly, warm, cultured person who is passionate about the history and culture of Istanbul. Each of his explanations was captivating and full of interesting anecdotes. This day will remain one of the most beautiful memories of our trip. We wholeheartedly recommend this guide to anyone wishing to discover Istanbul in the best possible conditions.

Better than staying in the airport, but too quick considering the time between the airport and downtown.

Hilal was absolutely the best guide and the company made everything easy for us. Van was spacious and spotless and Hilal was attentive to what we were interested in and took us to sights we didn’t even know about. 10/10 would recommend. She went above and beyond!!

We really enjoyed our tour of Istanbul. Kemal was excellent. We had a late arrival and it was rainy and it was cold. Kemal put together a great itinerary and by the end of the tour we had over 10k steps. His knowledge of historical facts and location specific information was very valuable. We learned a lot. We were picked up right at the airport exit. The van was clean and spacious. We kept our items in the van during stops with no issues. The driver was great too. We would definitely use this tour operator again. Note: it is about an hour drive to and from the airport so that may decrease your time on tour.

Great tour and service while being super flexible for our schedule. Was going to be shorter because of inbound flight delay and then ended up being longer due to outbound delay. We fit a lot in and learned a lot. Thx Ozzie!

We had a fantastic layover tour of Istanbul old town with my 8 year old daughter. We were all a bit tired, the weather was not great, but Ozan really helped us keep our energy up so we could make the most of our short time in the city! He was super helpful by text message before the tour, a huge plus when traveling internationally and not wanting to worry, and a ton of fun to hang out with. Definitely recommend!

What a fantastic layover tour of Istanbul! Communication with the tour company was flawless from beginning to end. They made sure that we found them easily at the airport and took care of our transportation to and from dinner and back to the airport. Our guide Dilek was an absolute delight. She quickly got us through all of the main highlights in the old city with the limited time we had for the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and was a pleasure to talk to and spend the day with. We had high expectations based on the reviews, but even these were exceeded.
