The Mausoleum of Hadrian, usually known as Castel Sant'Angelo (Italian pronunciation: [kaˈstɛl sanˈtandʒelo]; English: Castle of the Holy Angel), is a towering cylindrical building in Parco Adriano, Rome, Italy. It was initially commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family. The building was later used by the popes as a fortress and castle, and is now a museum. The structure was once the tallest building in Rome.
The Roman Pantheon is the most preserved and influential building of ancient Rome. It is a Roman temple dedicated to all the gods of pagan Rome. As the brick stamps on the side of the building reveal it was built and dedicated between A.D 118 and 125. The emperor Hadrian (A.D 117-138) built the Pantheon to replace Augustus’ friend and Commander Marcus Agrippa’s Pantheon of 27 B.C. which burnt to the ground in 80 A.D
A bearded face carved into a giant marble disc, the Bocca della Verità is one of Rome's most popular curiosities. Legend has it that if you put your hand in the mouth and tell a lie, the Bocca will slam shut and bite your hand off.
Saint Peter's Basilica, is the most famous Roman Catholic church in the world and one of the holiest sites in Christendom, dating back to Roman architecture of the early Christian art period. The basilica, now the Pope's principal church, was built according to tradition above the burial site of St. Peter, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus and the first Bishop of Rome, who was martyred in the year 64 CE.
it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world. The fountain has appeared in several notable films, including Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita, the eponymous Three Coins in the Fountain.
Piazza Navona is one of the most famous and arguably the most beautiful of Rome's many squares. The large and lively square features no less than three magnificent fountains. Another eyecatcher is the Baroque church of Sant'Agnese in Agone.
The monument holds great national significance. It is an architectonic and artistic tribute to the Italian Risorgimento: the complex process of unification undertaken by Victor Emmanuel II throughout the second half of the 19th Century. It is regarded as a national symbol of Italy and every year it hosts important national celebrations.
The Spanish Steps is one of Rome's most recognizable attractions and a popular gathering spot, but was intended as a gateway to the church that rests atop the staircase. The elegant staircase of 135 steps was inaugurated in the Jubilee Year of 1725 by Pope Benedict XIII, originally used to link the Bourbon Spanish Embassy to the Church of Trinità dei Monti. The name comes from the Spanish Embassy to the Vatican that has been located in the piazza since the 1600s.
This is known as the city of seven hills, but actually Rome has more than that. Indeed, the Gianicolo (or Janiculum), the hill that affords the best view of Rome, is west of the Tiber and outside the ancient city, so it's not counted among the ancient seven.

Stefano communicated with me a few days before our scheduled tour. He was wailing for us at the accorded lace and gave us a fabulous tour of Rome. Very efficient, very knowledgeable and very nice. I definitely recommend this firm
Many Thanks
We had the second time the most beautiful trip in Rome . So friendly and informative. We could stop at several sights and also look at for hour or two. Very patient, with the elderly. Lots of tips for eating out or going to the toilet. If we come to Rome again we will definitely book again. Many greetings and a thank you ❤️
Rosario was the best guide for someone like my husband who had never been to Rome before. He has some walking issues (can't go too far at one time without severe back pain) and Rosario got us as close to the sights we were visiting as possible. He was very flexible and took us around Rome by going through so many narrow streets and passages that we were completely amazed! He arranged for our lunch at an incredible restaurant in Piazza Navona and gave us so many insights into the city of Rome that we never could have discovered on our own. I highly recommend Rosario for the best tour of Rome ever!
Many Thanks
The itinerary is arbitrary. The true experience worth paying for is the driver. Rosario had a friendly sunny disposition the whole time. He aimed to please and allowed extreme flexibility in our schedule. Since we'd already hit 3 of the sights mentioned I informed the tour company about this beforehand and made requests for where we'd rather go. Needless to say, he would have made any sights we needed to see work within the time frame. We were on a cruise and absolutely had to be back at Port at a particular time. So if you book this tour don't do it for the stops mentioned (unless you WANT to stick to the plan of course.) since these can be tailored to what YOU need. Book it because of the drivers impeccable time keeping, reliability and aim to meet your needs as the tourist. We had great fun on this tour and would happily recommend it to anyone.
Ciao Alishia, We are grateful and sincerely happy with your comment. Grazie Mario
I want to say thank to GIULIA our driver. She is the greatest driver. We see a lot of places in Rome and we came back right on time.
Many Thanks
We had the absolute pleasure of having Rosario as our private driver during our visit to Rome, and we cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment he picked us up at the port, Rosario made us feel welcome and comfortable. His warm personality and extensive knowledge of the city made our tour truly unforgettable. Rosario expertly navigated the bustling streets of Rome, ensuring we saw all the major sights while sharing fascinating insights and local stories that brought the city's history to life. He even took us to some hidden gems that we would have never discovered on our own. His passion for Rome was evident, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our experience special. Beyond his professionalism, Rosario was incredibly accommodating, tailoring the tour to our interests and pace. Whether we wanted to linger at a site or move on to the next adventure, he was flexible and attentive to our needs. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind driver to show you the best of Rome, look no further than Rosario. He made our day in Rome one we'll never forget. Grazie mille, Rosario!
Ciao Loretta, we are very grateful for your review. Many Thanks Mario
The van was a bit old but the driver was friendly. Rome was very crowded and it was not easy for my mom who was in a scooter.
