Start your night city tour at Miradouro da Graça that offers spectacular views of the city to take memorable photos. Then it's time to enjoy a Fado Live Show & Traditional Dinner. You will have the chance to taste traditional Portuguese cuisine to immerse yourself fully into Lisbon's historical tradition. Fado music is declared part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. After the 2-hour live show and dinner continue the city tour and learn about the local gems in the city's oldest district, Alfama, where Fado was born in the early 19th century. Then you will get to visit Praça comércio, Cais do Sodré, which is famous for its upbeat character and last but not least the Belem Tower and Monument of Discoveries. My sister and our husbands booked an evening out in Lisbon through Welcome Pickups and they sent the best driver you could hope for. Nelson Branco met us at the hotel on time and he was beyond courteous, helpful, and informative. He had a great sense of history and a great sense of humor. He gave us a magical tour of Lisbon, and he made all the arrangements for our dinner at a restaurant with traditional live Fado music. He arrived to pick us up just as we were finishing up and drove us back to the hotel. But that wasn't the end of it. He offered his help with anything else that we needed while in Lisbon. And when we actually did need help, he went above and beyond. My husband has mobility issues and we needed a walker to replace the one we lost along the way. Not only did Nelson research availability of different models to offer us a selection, but he bought it for us AND delivered it to the hotel. He was a godsend on so many levels, we wanted to take him home! Thank you, Nelson, for the wonderful experience and the great introduction to the beautiful city of Lisbon.
