Exceptional knowledge. Catarina was amazing!
Daniele V was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Rome. Highly recommend booking with him specifically!
This was the best tour I have ever been on. Our guide, Luca, was so incredibly knowledgeable about Roman history. He had an interesting answer for every single question I asked him, and he took us to a lot of cool places that most tourists never get to see. I highly recommend this experience!
Luca was an incredible guide. We loved the tour!!
Francesco was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and provided the right amount of of details!
This tour was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Rome. While the Colosseum and Roman Forum were, of course, incredible to see in person, what really made this tour stand out were the additional sites that many travelers tend to overlook. Our guide, Chiara, was fantastic—both highly knowledgeable and very personable. She made the history come alive and was wonderful to spend time with throughout the tour. We especially loved exploring the lesser-visited areas beyond the main highlights. The Augustan Palace was a true standout and something we likely wouldn’t have appreciated (or even known to visit) without this tour. If you’re looking to go deeper than the standard Colosseum experience and discover some of Rome’s hidden treasures, this tour is absolutely worth it—especially with Chiara as your guide.
Our previous experience in touring there Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Forum was frustrating because of the confusing array of choices and what was included or excluded based on the tour package. I decided to spend the extra money to get a private tour through LivTours for this trip. While there were still some things we missed because of timing and availability, our guide Giovanni provided the best experience we've had touring in these areas. He was knowledgeable and had an answer for every question. It is impossible to see everything in one day let alone a four hour tour. But Giovanni helped make the most efficient use of the time we had. He helped us focus on the most pertinent points and moments by listening to our interests and understanding what we were looking for. He certainly helped us get the best experience possible by keeping us on schedule but allowing us to linger in places we needed to absorb just that little bit more. In the end he even took a little extra time with us to make sure our experience was complete. In reality there is no tour available that is 100% all inclusive, there is just too much to see, too much to absorb, too much to miss in Rome. But our tour today with Giovanni was the closest we have had yet.
Sandro was great and full of knowledge. He did an excellent job of leading our teenager and a senior through this experience.
This was by far the best tour experience we had in Rome. Our guide Annalisa was knowledgeable, engaging, and warm. We absolutely loved her. Highly recommend.
