- Please note that the Vatican Museums provide free entrance for visitors who are (according to the requirements stated by the Vatican City) at least 74% disabled by presenting the appropriate certification and, if one needs assistance by another person, that person also receives a free entrance. Please inform us when you are booking if you fit into these requirements and we will remove the pricing of the entry tickets from the price of the tour.
- As this is a walking tour with steps and staircases, comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
- Please advise during the booking process if any clients have mobility concerns so that we can best accommodate you.
- At the end of your tour, you are required to return the headset provided to you to your guide. In the event that you do not return the headset, you will be subject to a fine of €100 for lost property.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or government issued photo ID that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Vatican Museums.
- Due to the Jubilee, some monuments may be under restoration. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.

Great way to view exactly what you want to see with the limited time of 3 hours. Our guide, Ursus, was so knowledgeable about the history and significance of everything we viewed, and he was very friendly and engaging as well. He also did a great job navigating us through the hordes of visitors, maximizing what we could see!

Patrick was an excellent tour guide. He is experienced and very knowledgable. He provided historical perspective on all aspects of the Vatican. The tour was exactly 5 hours, which was what we expected. We felt he went above and beyond what a typical tour would have covered.

Donatella Mauceri was an amazing exhibitionist who gave us an indepth private tour of the Vatican museums, St. Peter's and Sistine Chapel. She took time to answer all of our questions and explained the meanings and history of the art and architecture.
The museum and Sistine Chapel were good, but the reason for the 1 star is the part of the tour for St. Peters Basilica was non-existent. We were told by our guide, "I'm taking you to the steps" of the Basilica. Then we were on our own. No tour whatsoever inside. It's not like we live in Rome and will be around to do this on another day. We saw many other tours with guides inside the Basilica but our guide was off on her own somewhere outside. We even showed our guide the tour tickets we (and 10 others) booked but it was no use. She refused to provide the complete tour per paid tickets. Apparently customer service is dragging their heels to follow up on our complaint. It's been 6 days with no updates.
Our tour guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all of the art and history that we covered. I appreciate how our guide expertly maneuvered us through all the crowds while still giving a very private experiences. Our 3-hour itinerary went by quickly because our guide was so engaging. I highly recommend a private tour with Through Eternity Tours!
Our guide Marie Moscato was fantastic. She met us exactly on time at the designated meeting spot. She explained everything to us and then guided us throughout the tour of the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica, sharing all of her art history knowledge with us. She even went out of her way to buy us tickets to the Pantheon when I mentioned I was having trouble with the web site the night before. Of course I repaid her for the tickets but it was a big help. The tour was great. All three sites are absolutely amazing to see especially the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel and we were lucky enough to be able to walk through the Holy Door to enter St Peter’s. I would highly recommend this tour and especially our guide.
Sistine Chapel was amazing!! Mary supplied lots of historical info and showed us all areas. She even brought us to an outside garden courtyard which was beautiful and peaceful. She did an amazing job transversing the lines of people so we could see all that we wanted! Back into the Basilica for the end and finish of the tour! It was really awesome!! So knowledgeable! Would recommend and do again!

The tour and our guide Marie were fantastic. Seeing and learning about the Museum, Chapel and Basilica was unbelievable.
