Your tour begin at the meetingpoint Via del Monte Oppio 10, nearby the Colosseum. We take you in using the special access which in the past was used by the Gladiators! Our professional tourguide will take you directly to the Arena Floor via the Gladiator Gate, the side entrance once used by Gladiators, this area is not opened to the general public. Once inside, your guide will take you directly into the Colosseum Arena Floor. A wooden reconstruction above the Colosseum Underground, the arena floor offers the best vantage points, it’s also a more peaceful place to contemplate your first view of the interior.

- Selfie sticks cannot be used inside the Colosseum for security reasons
- A current valid passport is required on the day of tour
- PLEASE BE AT MEETINGPOINT 15 minutes in advance
- Important. please note that you can not enter to the Colosseum with liquid, glass bottles large bags / backpacks / suitcases.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Roberto is amazing. He immediately connected with our kids (10-12) who aren’t really history buffs and kept it informative but highly entertaining the whole time. I lol-ed at quite a few of his jokes. We wish Roberto was available for all of our tours during our time in Italy. Definitely worth the private tour expense.

There were so many people in the tour. It seemed like 2 groups were added onto our our group. It felt like the guide was not enthusiastic; like it was another routine thing to be done for the day.
This tour was amazing! The tour company was so helpful and answered any questions we had concerning meeting points and times immediately. Our guide, Fabiola, was informative, interesting, and incredibly patient and kind to our children. Next time we come to Rome we will contact this company for any tours we need in the City and request Fabiola. In short, I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.

Would have been standing in line, in the sun all day if we hadn't booked this tour. Well worth the money. Roberto was a nice guy with a great sense of humour and plenty of local knowledge. Helped bring the Colosseum to life. Great experience, thank you Roberto.
The tour was great and although Tripadvisor said it lasted an hour it was closed 2.5hrs So it felt like great value for money. The tour did start late as we were rushed around to start but once it started it was much easier. Would recommend as you skipped the lines and got some very interesting information too
This tour covered the Colosseum with the guide Roberto who was absolutely excellent. He was also very entertaining and comical. No-one else in our group knew who 'The Fonz' was apart from Roberto and I, which he found extremely funny!!! Palatine Hill was amazing, we wouldn't know it existed or the vastness of it, if we hadn't done the tour included with the Roman Forum. The female guide was all very good and knowledgeable.
