Tour provided a great overview of the city and its history. Natalia did a great job, was knowledgeable and energetic! Good introduction with suggestions for follow up activities including food options.
We had a fantastic private tour with Rodrigo!! He is so authentic, friendly, and knowledgeable, and made our visit to Porto feel so special. We appreciate that he took us to some of the touristy places, but spent a lot of time sharing his favorite local off the beaten path spots to enjoy as well. We took the tour on our first day in Portugal and feel like we are well equipped with information about history, culture, and recommendations to truly appreciate the rest of our visit in Portugal.
Rita introduced us to Porto through engaging stories about the cities past. We learned about Porto’s connection with the church and the Porto. We visited the old town and parts of the new city. Rita pointed out small and large buildings, artworks, churches and gardens. We talked for 3 hours but it felt like 1.5 hours
Our guide was very good very honest and totally committed to his work bing water and snacks and the guide was able to keep us out the severe heat as much as possible
Viktoria our guide was fantastic, full of knowledge and make the visit of the city very entertaining!
We stayed at the river’s edge and met at the top of the city. Getting to the starting point was the hardest part. Viktoria was fun and engaging, bringing the city and country’s history to life. There is so much to see and do, one tour is not enough. Book early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds.
Pleasant and informative experience with Diogo. We saw key sites in the city. Annoying requirement for min. 100 characters!!!
Excellent tour with Natalie, very interesting and knowledgeable, lovely lady who was great fun and very enthusiastic . This is a tour that needs to be taken at the start of your stay.
Harold was an amazing guide for our Porto walking tour! His knowledge of the city's history, culture, and hidden gems was incredible, and he shared it all in such an engaging and expressive way. It was a very hot day, but Harold was thoughtful throughout the tour, making sure our group of six could stop in the shade whenever possible, which made a huge difference. His enthusiasm and energy were infectious—it was clear he genuinely enjoyed showing us around Porto and making sure everyone had a great experience. At the end of the tour, he shared a QR code with his personal recommendations for food, drinks, and things to do. We followed three of his restaurant and bar suggestions afterward, and every one of them was fantastic. Thank you, Harold, for making our visit to Porto so memorable. We highly recommend this tour!
It “Free” (pay as much as you like) tour. Jorge was an excellent guide. We covered a good deal of the city centre, learned a lot about Portugal, and heard a lot of stories that will help us remember the historical facts about the country and Porto.
