What a fantastic tour!!! Well worth the money and a perfect combination of sights, cable car and boat trip. John our guide was absolutely superb, funny and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you John. Just brilliant
A great tour exploring the history of Porto and Portugal thru stories. He covers a lot of ground both literally and physically. I like getting the fast pass to get into the places including the Luvraria and Lello bookstore! The McDonald’s is not to be missed.
João was amazing, very friendly, charismatic and knowledgeable. He was always thoughtful and cared about everyone being able to listen and understand. The tour itself was great too, learning more about the history of Portugal and the connection with Brazil . I wholeheartedly can say that I recommend.
We saw a lot of sites, John our guide was very helpful. Group was perfect size.
John was an amazing guide! Wonderful experience and amazing attitude. 11 stars!
It was Fantastic! Johan knows the history very well and he is very knowledgeable
This tour was a great combination of walking, listening to history, a short but scenic cable car ride and lovely busy ride under the bridges of Porto. Maria was so friendly and enthusiastic about her home city. We learned about Portuguese history and social change over the recent decades. This tour is definitely worth the cost. Maria was super helpful and offered many recommendations for other places to visit and restaurants (including for larger groups).
The guide was fantastic. However the program and itinerary were very slow and didn’t highlight any ‘new’ or different sides of Lisbon. To spend 5 hours in a bookshop, very average cafe , McDonald’s, the train station ( available to all) and a very average tourist spot for lunch then bridge/ river cruise ……. We expected to see the unexpected, the tour walking pace was so relaxed. Lots of stopping, waiting, coffee, etc. in 5 hours it would have been great to see the ‘unseen’ of Porto or the great food culture etc. the guide was great, the program a major let down and we felt we wasted 5 hours.
Joao was fabulous, clear, well spoken and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed the tour. I am so impressed by his professionalism.
