You will have the opportunity to learn the history of the wine estates and see all the wine cultivation and production process, being at the source of the Porto Wine. The "birthplace" of this unique nectar! During the tour enjoy 6 wine tastings while admiring the astonishing landscapes and serenity of the Douro Valley, recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO, since 2001. The guided visit to 2 different wine estates with tastings, a complete traditional lunch with Douro wines and a scenic 50 minutes cruise on the Douro River is included on this full package.

Itinerary
Your expert guide will collect you from your hotel/accommodation or meeting point and will drive you to the renown Douro region. On your way to the Douro, the guide will give you insights regarding the Portuguese history, development and cultural facts of portuguese heritage. Half Way through the drive to the Douro Region we will do a short stop for a coffee break.
Welcome to the Douro Region, famous for it's valley, Unesco World Heritage site, the oldest demarked wine region with unique landscapes of vineyards and the magical Douro river giving you the perfect background for a day of amazing wine tastings.
Arriving in Sabrosa we will do our first visit of the day. We will discover the first of two wineries where you learn about the wine production and history of Douro Region, and its wines. You will have the oportunity to taste different wines before the lunch. A complete lunch will be served by the end of the visit: a full traditional portuguese meal with entrance, main dish, dessert, pairing with Douro red or white wine.
After lunch we will drive through the windy Douro roads on the way to Pinhão and we will do a quick photo stop at one of the most impressive viewpoints of the region. Enjoy the views and share with your friends and collegues on social media!
It's now time to sail! Enjoy a 50 minutes scenic cruise on the Douro river departing from Pinhão on board of a traditional Rebelo boat.
National Road 222: drive through the most beautiful road in the world Did you know that one of the most beautiful roads in the world is Portuguese? We talk about the Estrada Nacional 222, which takes you to discover the incredible Douro wine region. On our tour will pass on this amazing road and point out the most scenic views.
Our wine tour is not over yet! There is time to visit one more renown Winery. The winery expert guide will walk you through the estate ,explaining the process from the vinyard to the bottle ending with a magnificent tasting of three different types of wines.

Douro is so scenic! I really enjoyed the part of going on a boat in the river and the wine was great
Rute was a fantastic guide that made the experience very enjoyable for everyone. She told personal stories throughout the day which added value to the experience. The wine and scenery was also lovely! A big thank you to Tiago for being an excellent driver as well.
We had an absolutely exceptional time with this tour in the Douro valley! Truly amazing. Beatriz and Bruno were our tour guide and driver and they were amazing! Beatriz was full of energy and information from the very beginning to the very end. She truly was a highlight to the trip. The price of the trip was unbeatable, you really get what you pay for and more! The day is about 10-12 hours just because of all of the driving so be prepared that this is an all day event! We booked as a couple and the entire group ended up being 28 people. I would say this is good for a group of adults of any party size. The Douro valley itself was like seeing a painting in real life… exceptional! Don’t leave Porto without going!
We had the most wonderful day exploring the Douro valley with our tour guide Mariana and driver Franco. The small tour group was approx 28 people. Mariana made the drive out to the Douro valley and between experiences entertaining, with a great amount of history presented in an interesting and at times comical way. The experiences themselves were good quality and we learnt plenty about port and wine production. We also got to taste plenty of wine and port along the way. Lunch was good and the food kept coming if we needed it. This was a great day out and the highlight of our visit to Porto.
Mariza is incredible & so knowledgeable and kind. Best tour we have ever taken. If you love wine and want to see Portugal, Book it!!!!! Such a fun, special tour. The lunch experience was amazing and we were extremely full. Food was delicious and the wine was unlimited. The information was so fun to learn and I could have stayed even longer. What a fun bus ride around Portugal. I will do this tour again when we come back w friends. Can’t thank them enough for one of the best days ever. Also the boat cruise was the best and most beautiful. You won’t regret this tour!
We had a fantastic tour with Tania and Linho. We saw amazing wineries and spectacular views all along our tour and the wine we tasted was incredible, a really special and memorable experience. What was really touching was how accommodating Tania was to an injury my partner sustained a day before the tour. She helped her to access all parts of the tour, helping her with her crutches and making sure she was alright. We were worried that she wouldn't be able to go on or enjoy the experience, but Tania made every part accessible for her and we couldnt be more grateful!

Pretty good experience, I'd recommend to everyone staying in Porto. A few suggestions: more water in the wineries, it was very hot and water wasn't easily accessible. Also, all the wines were sweet, I was expecting some dry ones, but if that is Porto signature I am ok with it. And food portions could be a bit larger. Otherwise, awesome experience for meeting people and getting to know Porto and northern Portugal. Rute and Julio were great.
