We had so much fun at the Pastel de Nata class. We were given detailed instructions, demonstrations, and then we dove in to try it ourselves. The results? Beautiful and delicious with extras to take with us. Highly recommend!
This cooking class was so fun! The kitchen area is clean and inviting, easy to locate, and our head chef was welcoming and encouraged our whole group to converse and get to know each other! We learn how to make puff pastries in general, and then learn to make the custard, as well as the cultural significance and history of the pastel de nata more generally. Overall this was well worth the experience!
Diogo was the best instructor ever! His vibe and skill were on point! He taught with passion and kindness! The vibe of the class was great! We did not feel out of place there at all! Worth every penny! 10/10 recommend to do when in Lisbon! It was also great meeting new people!
such an amazing experience! our guide Dio was very kind and explained instructions well. It was a great way to immerse ourselves into the portuguese culture, would definitely recommend!
We had a great time at our baking class. Instructions were very clear and help was provided when needed. And I can now successfully recreate Pastel de Nata for my friends and family.
Such a fun class! Bea was an excellent instructor, we can’t wait to make these at home! Missing Lisbon already.
A fantastic experience from start to finish. The class was fun, informative, and very hands-on. Everything was explained clearly and shared some history while guiding us through the baking process. The small group atmosphere made it easy to ask questions and get involved. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Lisbon. A great way to spend a few hours and leave with new baking skills.
Although we were quite early to the class, we were made to feel very welcome. Teresa was a patient teacher and spent time going through each stage of the process in a clear manner. After, the whole group sat down and enjoyed a port and cherry liqueur whilst we tasted the Pasteis de Nata ( Portuguese custard tarts) that we had made. The class was very well run and we felt a sense of achievement with the final outcome. The tarts tasted delicious!
We throughly enjoyed the class. The instructor was very easy to follow and the pastries came out lovely. The instructor was very kind and accommodating when we arrived late. We definitely recommend this experience!
Great activity with a lively and lovely team! As a bonus, you get i sights into the history of the pastry and you can buy the forms!
