Waste of money ! Do it on your own and get in faster . We had to wait for the entire group and the tour guide seated us all the way in the back even though we got here at 6:40 am.
Excellent guide to help us navigate the massive crowds. She shared very interesting stories and facts and well with the price.
As a Catholic, this was a profound experience for me. I didn't realize when I booked it that we were going to witness the pope's final public audience of the Jubilee Year when the Holy Doors are open. Our guide was wonderful and obtained the very best seats possible for us to see Pope Leo up close. I could practically reach out and touch him when the "pope mobile" stopped right in front of our group. And I was able to get some incredible photos! There was a ceremony and a papal blessing that left me in tears. Everything about this tour was magical and I am so happy that I included it as part of my Christmas visit to Rome.
Julia was a great guide and got us very close to the Pope. Be aware that it is a very early morning for the 10AM experience, but there really isn’t another option if you want to have good seats.
The guide made sure our group got great seats. Was able to see the pope up close. The weather was hot but going to the audience was well worth it. The pope simply radiates joy.
Paying for the tour was so worth the money. Julia led us through the crowd with our secured tickets. Our choice of seats was amazing.
The audience with Pope Leo was a great experience for our family and our guide Julia made sure we had great seats. From the beginning Julia gave us lots of interesting facts and enhanced our experience. Thank you Julia!
For first time visitors this was worth the experience to gain benefit of our guide’s experience in navigating the crowds of pilgrims attending the Papal audience. While attendance is “free” it could have been overwhelming to try and figure it out on our own. That said, the initial registration process was very crowded and a bit chaotic. We arrived earlier than the indicated 20 minutes ahead of time and we were glad we did. Our guide knew which security line would be least crowded and most efficient, and which seating area (first come first served) would give the best vantage points to view the proceedings as well as get close to the Pope during his pre-audience “Pope-mobile” tour through the crowd. We would recommend for first-timers, but now that we are in the “circle” with our “insider” knowledge, we wouldn’t need to repeat if we have an opportunity to return to Rome for another audience.
Our guide was amazing. He walked us right up the front of the second seating area, that put us right where the Pope was going to be driving by. So knowledgeable.
We had Sabrina as our tour guide and she got us a front row seat to see the Pope drive right in front of us! An experience of a lifetime! It was a hot one and waited from 7am till 10am for the Pope to come out. Make sure to not book a 10:30am tour or you’ll miss it!
