A slow loop above mighty Diamond Head lets you peer directly into one of Oahu's most famous landmarks.
You continue over crystal clear Maunalua Bay and head towards the island’s rugged eastern shores and Hanauma Bay’s spectacular reefs.
You spy the little lighthouse perched above the cliffs of Makapu’u as you round the Eastern Shore and over the longest stretch of beach on the entire island of Oahu. Follow the Ko'olau Mountains up the Windward Coast to world-renowned Lanikai Beach and the aptly-named Chinaman’s Hat resting on the water.
The pilot guides your helicopter into the pristine forest and jagged cliffs of the magnificent Ka'a'awa Valley. Hold on tight as you fly deep into the mountains for a panoramic view of Oahu's highest waterfall, Sacred Falls.
You head back towards the airport with a passage over the mountains and the island's inland sea - Dole Plantation's "Pineapple Sea".
This incredible tour doesn't end until you have completed a solemn pass by Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial.

- Safety of flight is our primary concern. The operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or appear to be intoxicated. Intoxicated passengers will not fly and they will be charged in full.
- For doors off tours, jackets and/or sweatshirts, closed toe shoes, and hair ties are required. Long pants are recommended.
- When booking the doors off experience, your seat may or may not be directly adjacent to an open door.
- Only passengers weighing 80 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Robinson R44 helicopter. Only passengers weighing 100 lbs or more may fly with the door off in our Airbus Astar helicopter.
- All passengers 24 months and older must purchase a full fare seat.
- For each guest weighing 250 pounds or more, a weight and balance fee is required to safely balance the aircraft. For guests weighing between 250-275 lbs, a fee in the amount of 50% of the seat price will be assessed after booking. For guests weighing 275 lbs or higher, an additional seat purchase will be assessed after booking.

What a wonderful experience! We did the helicopter tour with open doors in the evening around 4 PM and it was a little breezy so we were definitely both nervous because it was our first time. Our pilot, Hannah, was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable despite all of the winds—the ride was so smooth and her communication throughout the entire ride was phenomenal. I highly recommend doing this when you’re in Hawaii. It was the best money we’ve ever spent and worth every single penny. Thank you for such a beautiful experience. It was so amazing to experience the island from up above. 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone visiting this island.

The best experience, almost had to cancel because of the weather early AM but the team was accommodating and told me that I could wait and do a flight later in the day. Worth every penny, sights you can only see by helicopter. Our pilot was amazing, very knowledgeable about the island. Smooth ride besides alittle bumps here and there from the wind (to be expected). Got proposed to after the helicopter and an unforgettable experience. If you're thinking about booking, do it!
It was a great experience! Hannah was a great energy for the registration/check-in process. She helped calm the little nerves I had. Conor (pilot) was engaging, knowledgeable and informative about the route. He also was a big contributor for my experience. I hope I did not tire him with my questions. I would recommend Rainbow 🌈 to everyone desiring to tour Oahu from the air!
The best tour, we flew over Pearl Harbor and the waterfall at Pierre’s, and it is an unforgettable experience.
Oh my goodness this was so much fun. We almost cancelled our whole trip due to weather and I’m so glad we didn’t because missing this would have been terrible! Nikki was so good. I went up with my daughter and her best friend. We had taken pretty much the same tour in a car earlier that day, but to see the views from above was amazing. I felt safe and Nikki was extremely knowledgeable about the island. I can’t say how pleased I was with this tour and company. They were great!
