Cooking in NOLA

Chef Ricardo was funny and knowledgeable…a mine of information about New Orleans history, Creole cuisine as well as Cajun cuisine. I just wish I had booked the full experience instead of just the demonstration class.

Two timers!

This is the second class we attended and loved it each time! The demonstration was educational and helpful as well as entertaining! We were able to taste what was presented and could even enjoy seconds! The food was delicious and the tips very valuable! Each class we attended presented a different menu. A wonderful experience! We will look forward to next year!

EXCELLENT NEW ORLEANS ACTIVITY!

This was my second visit. I returned to see a different menu prepared. Our chef was Lynn, a native of South Louisiana. She was entertaining and full of stories and history of how Louisiana cooking came to be. We had shrimp and artichoke soup, crawfish etouffe, bread pudding, pralines and a beer. The demonstration was interesting, the food prepared was delicious and we all had a great time. We left with recipes and good memories! I recommend. The price of $45 was more than fair and much less than you’ll pay elsewhere.

Operator response

Pat, Thank you for sharing about your experience! We hope you come back someday and try out another chef too!

Great experience! Chef Eric was the best!

The experience was amazing! We did not know what we would encounter upon arrival, but it was simply amazing. The staff were so hospitable and welcoming. Chef Eric was phenomenal. The food, the atmosphere the history are worth it. They should charge more for the actual demonstration. Well worth it and I definitely would’ve paid more.

Operator response

Thank you! We are really glad you enjoyed it. It really is a deal!

Well worth the experience

We had a great time. Chef Harriett lead the class. She gave great tips and tricks for cooking the recipes she made. She was very entertaining, told funny stories, and some New Orleans history. She’s real down to earth and made the experience so enjoyable and I would 100% recommend signing up if you are looking for something new to do in New Orleans.
