very fun and informative. A lot of walking but worth the views. The waterfall was amazing worth the steps!
This experience was really beautiful, the guides were truly great at explaining and letting us observe every single animal. Mistico park is worth the experience.
Abel is the best. He cares a lot about making the day an unforgettable experience: he shares facts, makes you laugh, and, most importantly, finds animals and shows them with infinite patience. Pura vida in its purest form🤙🏽
Everything was beautiful. We opted for the more difficult volcano hike and would definitely rate it as strenuous. The scenery and wildlife were incredible, especially on the hanging bridges tour. The springs were a great way to end a long day. BUT the main reason we had such a great time was quality of the guides, Abel and Sergio. They were kind, very generous with their knowledge and fun. Abel was especially great at spotting wildlife and making sure everyone had a chance to see the incredible sights and animals along the way. I would have preferred a smaller group size, but there's a reason this tour is popular. Overall, highly recommend.
Abel and Sergio offered us a wonderful trip through the nature of Costa Rica. Highly recommended guides due to their specialization in the country's fauna and flora.
We chose the Mistico-Waterfalls trip. Mistico is a gorgeous park with abundant wildlife. We've now had several guides, but our guide on this trip wasn't passionate about helping us see the wildlife or in telling us very much about it. He also kept a pace that made it hard to stop and observe. And when we did find something he didn't point it out and talk us through he aimed his telescope and took pictures through our phones, which was nice, but didn't help us see. And the Waterfalls, we really didn't need a guide for. It would be nice if you could pick your guide and read the reviews of them. Or express what you were hoping for. Perhaps some people want to go quick and to focus on the photographs and others want a guide with a passionate naturalist.
Unfortunately we did not have a good time as the tour itself was not what we expected. There was a lot of time spent doing nothing and we didn’t get what we paid for.
Just wonder when did you do the tour, so we can ask the guide if some situation was not as we expected. Please, get in contact with our Customer Service Department, via WhatsApp at +506 8794-7251
Melbin was our guide and he was super awesome. Very knowledgeable and showed us many animals along our route. He also showed us coffee and chocolate tour for free as well as made us try sugar cane syrup. Everything was amazing. He even showed us a sloth and her baby. Made our day. Will def book again with him. He made the trip all worth it.
The bridges allow for beautiful views and ability to see the volcano along with frogs and snakes. We had a great guide who shared his knowledge as we hiked. My 3 year old enjoyed the bridges and the putting her feet in the waterfall waters . The lunch spot was delicious and very large portion!
A very lovely experience; we saw many animals, and the guide Melvin was always attentive to ensure we didn't miss anything!
