The Tower was the last sight of the great Portuguese sailors who discovered the world.

Fahid is a fantastic guide. He is from Lisbon and knows the city well. He customized the tour around our group’s interests and made the experience fun. He has a genuine passion for sharing the history and story of Lisbon and Portugal.
Our guide knew so much and answered all our questions. We wanted an authentic experience and we got it.
Inis was really knowledgeable and was able to customize our tour and to accommodate us on an unusually hot day. She found transportation to help keep us cool. Additionally, she really impressed us when we changed plans on the fly and opted to go to a museum to get out of the heat. Inis didn’t miss a beat and gave us a well informed guided tour of the museum.
Our guide met us our our hotel and took us around old Lisbon for 4 hours. She was so knowledgeable and showed us all the places off the beaten path. She provided us lots of tips and tricks and thing to look out for
We enjoyed our customizable walking tour for a family of 4 with Fahim (it was arranged by J5 travel). The tour targeted mostly the area of Alfama, but on the way walked through other areas as well. Fahim is a terrific guide - very knowledgeable through his education background and personal interests, he is an engaging story teller and is good with kids. We stopped for a drink of Jingha, briefly chatted with locals and artists, Fahim took a few of our family photos, and taught us how to distinguish historical restaurants and shops from "tourist traps". He was able to answer multiple historical, architectural (general and preservation) as well as cultural questions - we had a great tour and learned a lot! We would recommend this guide to anyone with no hesitation!
We were spoiled by the experience we had with the Lisbon “Chill Out” free walking tour the day before. Still, this was a very good, if slightly scripted, introduction to the highlights of Belem. Unlike with the Lisbon “Chill Out” free walking tour, Belem is level, street surfaces are even and the route encompasses less than 2 kilometers so it is doable by almost anyone. Discover Walks is based out of Paris, where they offer a plethora of free walking tours (we enjoyed their Montmartre tour very much).
we enjoyed an entertaining walkjng tour in belen of q.5 hours coverkng the whole area (not the inside of the monastry and the jeronimos cathedral) with a pleasent prepared and fluent guide mr. david. very good experience even for the kids.
The best way to integrate into Lisbon is to walk without rush through its narrow streets or wide avenues. Walking in the late afternoon to the shores of the Tagus is another way to feel the charms of Lisbon.
My friend and I had an absolute blast on our private tour with Ricardo. He tailored a perfect day for us, and even took us by some of his favourite restaurants in town, which was an added treat. Would recommend Ricardo to anyone who truly wants to understand Lisbon while having a ton of fun.
Walking around the beautiful city of lisbon with a local guide was brilliant way to get all the local information you would need. The best way to see all the sights and taste the local food we walked for 3 hrs with two breaks in between but it felt half the time as Henrique was full of information
