Óbidos is a medieval walled town that is exceptionally well-preserved, making it a popular tourist destination. Its narrow streets, whitewashed houses adorned with colorful flowers, and historic landmarks like the Castle of Óbidos create a fairy-tale ambiance. Visitors can stroll along the town's ramparts, sample the local cherry liqueur called "Ginjinha," and explore the artisan shops selling traditional crafts and souvenirs.
átima is one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in the world. It gained prominence in 1917 when three shepherd children reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Today, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima is visited by millions of pilgrims and tourists each year. The sanctuary includes the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and the massive open-air plaza where religious ceremonies take place.
Aveiro is a small city, known for its canals and its recent urban development. It is an ideal place to visit both in summer and winter thanks to its mild climate during most of the year.

From the time he met us at our hotel in Lisbon to being dropped off in Porto, we knew we were in great hands. Antonio knew when to engage and converse and when to let the silence be. We were supposed to make a walking day of it in Obidos however the weather did not fully agree with us. Along the way he made 2 other suggestions to stop and were so glad he did. Nazare was just beautiful scenery and Alverio - wow if I could convince my wife to move there. Let’s see. Antonio we may be back sooner than I thought.
