Our guide arrived late and we came back early. She did have interesting information. You can see more and save money if you take the on and off bus.
Regarding your review, as said there was a misunderstanding regarding the place that you were staying and it was the only reason why the driver and the guide got late (20min) but we couldn’t do much until we finally got in touch with you whenever you answered our calls, but once again we apologize for that. Regarding your observation on saving money on taking a hop on hop off bus and see more that doesn’t correspond to reality because the bus doesn’t cover the historical neighborhoods that you were taken to, doesn’t cover downtown, doesn’t take you trough Alfama walking and showing you the main spots as informations and historical facts either. Regarding coming back earlier, you got back to the hotel 10min after the predicted time for the tour to end and only because you didn’t want to get inside the moments and have the private guided visits as it was supposed to happen and that’s the reason why we have a an official private guide preforming the tour and with people during the all day. Once again we truly apologize for getting late and we are completely aware that was the only reason for your unsatisfaction as you kept telling the driver and the guide through the day
We had a full and complete tour of Lisbon for the day. Door to door service with an extremely knowledgeable guide and a fantastic driver. Our first time in Lisbon was most memorable!

This is the best way to see the most of Lisbon if you only have a short period of time. We spent a wonderful four hours with Joaquin. He was so knowledgeable about the city, and answered all our questions. He was very accommodating and attended to our every need. We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience we had with this tour. We highly recommend this tour and if you’re lucky enough to have Joaquin, as your driver tour/guide, count your lucky stars!.

DO NOT BOOK THE HALF DAY ”tour”. It’s a farce. Our “English” guide spoke marginal English and knew absolutely no history on Lisbon or Portugal in general. This tour should read…book for a whole day or get an Uber. I understand that the guide wasn’t going into any monument or tourist attraction but I would expect that they know marginal information about the city we were in. He knew nothing. He drove by totally uninteresting things and pointed them out. Dropped us off at places that were already closed. It was a total waste of time and we asked him to drop us off at the hotel an hour early because we were so fed up.
Hi We will answer the same that we did to customer service: First of all we would like to get your attention for the following: • the tour started at 2pm (local time), we received your email requesting the refund at 4:26pm. For our reading of the situation the clients “judged the book by it’s cover” and they didn’t gave the driver the chance to demonstrate his value. And honestly we feel a bit scammed due to the situation and by their early judgement. According with the driver’s testimony, the only thing that he assumed to the clients that he didn’t knew was the exact time that st Jorge’s Castle was built also because there was not existing documentation with the exact information about it but for his knowledge it was around the 10th century during the moorish occupation, and the clients went straight to google to check the given information that was correct and exactly like it was said beside the part of the Roman occupation that took place before Christ that was being saved for later whenever they were touring along downtown. Due to the understanding situation the driver assumed that at the beginning had some trouble understanding the clients due to their strong accent and he had to ask them for several times to repeat theirs questions so he could properly answer their questions but after the 1st hour he was already used to their accent and the understanding became clear also because the clients started to speak slowly. Due to the “glorified taxi service” as the client’s say, if it was like that they wouldn’t spend the all time with the driver because the monuments can be seen in 1 hour, easily. Beside that, after the rain was over the driver brought the clients to Tagus shore and gave them a lot of explanations about the surrounding monuments that we always do. After all this explication we decline any refund to the clients because our job was properly done and the clients made their judgment to soon without let us show them our value We could consider the refund if the request would come after the tour was over not at the beginning, we would assume that for some reason we were not able to fulfill the client’s expectations and we would not partially refund the clients but totally refund them as we did in the past. According to the earlier end of the tour it’s not true because you were dropped off at the hotel after the scheduled end time. Best regards
