Lisbon Lurury Morning Boat Tour with Breakfast and Open Bar

Itinerary

Pass by

Sail beneath Lisbon’s iconic 25 de Abril Bridge, a striking red suspension bridge spanning the Tagus River. Opened in 1966, it connects Lisbon to Almada and offers one of the city’s most photogenic viewpoints—especially at golden hour.

Pass by

Spot Lisbon’s futuristic MAAT on the Tagus waterfront—an eye-catching museum known for its sweeping curves and riverside rooftop walkway. Its bold contemporary design makes it one of the most photographed modern landmarks in the city, especially as the light reflects off the water.

Pass by

See the impressive Padrão dos Descobrimentos rising on the Belém waterfront, a landmark celebrating Portugal’s Age of Discoveries. Shaped like a ship’s prow, it features Prince Henry the Navigator and other iconic figures facing the Tagus—symbolizing the voyages that connected Portugal to the world.

Pass by

Admire the Belém Tower, Lisbon’s postcard-perfect fortress standing at the edge of the Tagus. Built in the early 1500s, it once guarded the city’s river entrance and welcomed ships returning from long voyages. Today it’s a UNESCO-listed symbol of Portugal’s maritime heritage and one of the best photo stops on the waterfront.

Pass by

Look across the river to see Cristo Rei, the towering statue of Christ overlooking Lisbon from Almada. Inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s Christ the Redeemer, it was inaugurated in 1959 as a symbol of peace and gratitude. From its platform, the views over the Tagus, the 25 de Abril Bridge, and the city skyline are unforgettable.

Pass by

Cruise past Lisbon’s grand riverside square, Praça do Comércio—also known as Terreiro do Paço—one of the city’s most iconic landmarks facing the Tagus.

Best excursion in Lisbon, with brilliant company!

Exceptional trip, it was truly a magical experience. The host was extremely informative, we left knowing more about Lisbon as a city. I can’t thank our host Pedro enough, he was professional and incredibly funny - we went with our young son who is only 21 months old so I was slightly anxious but Pedro went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. The trip had an intimate and personal vibe, which was made possible through Pedro’s welcoming nature and excellent command of English. There was a wide selection of fruits, drink and pastries. We were very well fed! Lastly, I can’t recommend the trip enough, it’s a great way to see Lisbon and there isn’t a better way to start your morning off, not to mention it is an absolute bargain!

A MUST do experience

This was an INCREDIBLE experience and a MUST do. I travel a lot for work and always add an excursion, so I have seen a lot of different experiences. This morning 2 hour sightseeing boat tour was by far one of the BEST ones. Pedro was very knowledgeable, kind, accommodating and showed me the side of Lisbon you won’t see from the other vintage points. The boat is also the only kind sailing from Lisbon so it’s totally unique. The breakfast was incredible and a great touch for while you sail. The pride Pedro has in this boat is unmatched and you can see how much he enjoys what he does. I also appreciated that while nobody else signed up for the 10 am tour, he didn’t cancel. He said it’s their policy to sail even if only one person signs up because they know you make plans and don’t want to disappoint you. Please do yourselves a favor and do this tour. I would also recommend the 10 am option because of how different it is from the sunset one. Better yet, do both of them :)

Operator response

Wow, what a massive compliment coming from someone who travels and does excursions as much as you do! It’s fantastic that you got to experience the morning tour—you are totally right, that 10:00 AM light gives a completely different perspective of Lisbon compared to the sunset. Pedro genuinely loves showing off those unique vantage points, and he'll be so happy to hear you noticed the pride he takes in the boat (and that you enjoyed the Portuguese breakfast!). About the policy—honestly, we just don't think it's fair to ruin someone's holiday plans just because a time slot isn't packed. We are so glad we got to go out and give you a proper private experience! Thanks for the incredible recommendation. If your work travels ever bring you back this way, you already know where to find us for that sunset cruise! Safe travels.

Wonderful morning boat tour!

Pedro was amazing! He supplied a generous amount of food and made sure our cups were always full. We really enjoyed the breakfast and music, not to mention the sights! Pedro knew so much about Portugal and was able to share the history and meaning behind all the sights onshore as we went past them. He even stopped to take a picture of us with the Belém Tower in the background! The boat was cozy and the entire trip felt very intentional. I would recommend to anyone I know visiting Lisbon!

Operator response

That word "intentional" really strikes a chord with us—it is exactly what Pedro aims for every time he sets sail. We are so glad you loved the whole breakfast vibe, from the music and food to the history along the way. And of course, you can't leave Lisbon without getting that classic photo by the Belém Tower! Thank you for the massive shout-out and for recommending us to your friends. If you ever find yourself back in town, you're always welcome back on board for breakfast on the water!

Get ready for 2 hours of Lisbon history and lovely views.

We are a party of eight lifelong friends traveling in Portugal. We give this tour 5 stars! 1) The skipper, Captain Pedro, is an experienced sailor with vast amounts of knowledge of his waterways, his city and his country. He is very entertaining, funny and sincere. 2) Lisbon is gorgeous city and to see it from the river was incredible. 3) The boat “M. Julia” is comfortable and lovingly maintained. 4) The light breakfast was delicious. We have knowledge of boating and world history, so we loved asking Pedro a variety of questions. I’ll be recommending this tour to all of our traveling friends!

Operator response

Thank you so much! It was a real pleasure hosting a group of lifelong friends on the "M. Julia." We’re so glad you appreciated the maintenance of the boat and the breakfast. Pedro loved diving into those history and boating questions with you—it's not every day we get such a knowledgeable crew on board! Safe travels and we hope to see your friends here soon!
