We sat with another couple our age, whom we met earlier that day, so had lovely company. Will, the captain was very professional and humorous. Alysia was just lovely and cooked the fish and steaks perfectly. The river and lake, as the sun was setting, was perfect for reflective photography, as well as just to enjoy. Cruising at a lovely slow pace added to the relaxing ambience.
What a surprise. Well worth doing. Three course meal ( which was yummy)and drinks included. The staff were awesome. Stunning views of Lake Kununurrs and the Ord river as the sun went down.

Very helpful staff of 2 on a boat with about 30 people. Drinks and all food part of the package. Which was handled without a hitch. Fantastic scenery and wildlife. Even managed a second helping of barramundi.
If you are visiting Kununurra you must make time to do this Sunset cruise. Not only for lovers of sunsets, the water but also bird watchers. Pick up from the caravan park in town made it easy to access. Our two guides (Matt & Alyissa) were down to earth, friendly, open to questions & honest (he said he was no tour guide just a boat driver) The cruise itself, a very casual float down the river from the Lilyponds to Paddleback? We arrived in perfect time to watch the sun set reflecting a beautiful assortment of colour's over the water. The Food/Bar service - wow. Very nice, plentiful, good selections and cooked just right. Nibbles, Steak, Barra, Salads and dessert of course. All included. Absolutely great value for a night on the river.
The staff were exceptional, friendly and hard working. They made the whole experience a wonderful occasion. The young woman rendered the bar and also cooked our dinner. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The master was friendly and very professional. Helped out with the food prep and served the bar. Terrific young people!
Fun dinner in a relaxed and picturesque setting. We had a friendly group on board which makes the atmosphere. Nibbles and dinner was very nice. Especially the barramundi. Some great sunset shots. Poor value for money if not drinking alcohol. Had zero beer on menu but had none in stock. Poor planning and management. Music choice was good.
I highly recommend this tour. Boat, crew, service, food and views were all exceptional.

We had the best time on the sunset cruise , the crew were just fantastic, the boat was great, even though it was a smaller group, the layout was very good and comfortable. Nibbles and main meal was great, awesome piece of Barra and the steak cooked beautifully. Drinks just kept going from start to finish with a good selection. The slow meander through the backwater was so good and where we stopped for dinner was perfect for photos. Pick up and drop off just topped the whole thing off. We’ve been on a couple of these types of trips and this particular one in our opinion was so very much worth the money, 12 out of 10. Highly recommend. Thanks so very much to the team from start to finish.
