St. Peter’s Basilica is one of the holiest temples for Christendom and one of the largest churches in the world. Besides, it is where the Pope presides many liturgies all year round.
The Cathedral of the Most Holy Savior and of Saints John the Baptist and the Evangelist in the Lateran is the cathedral church of the Diocese of Rome in the city of Rome and serves as the seat of the Roman Pontiff. It is the oldest and highest ranking of the four papal major basilicas, holding the unique title of "archbasilica". It is the oldest public church in the city of Rome, and the oldest basilica of the Western world.
The Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore or church of Santa Maria Maggiore, is a Papal major basilica and the largest Catholic Marian church in Rome, Italy.
The Papal Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls commonly known as Saint Paul's Outside the Walls, is one of Rome's four ancient, papal, major basilicas, along with the basilicas of Saint John in the Lateran, Saint Peter's, and Saint Mary Major. Super Efficient transport Good preparation between stops - at churches Friendly manner and conversation I will reccomend to friends and customers
Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed the tour in Rome.
Max was very professional, friendly and punctual. It’s a fantastic way to experience the jubilee four Churches.
Thank you for your feedback, we're glad you were satisfied. Our drivers offer the utmost professionalism and our vehicles provide maximum comfort.
The driver was punctual and polite but didin`t speak English. We had to understand each other: he spoke Italian and I spoke Portuguese. In the end, everythig worked out.
Thank you Monica for your feedback. I'm glad everything worked out.
This was a dedicated car and driver. This was NOT a tour as advertised. Tour implies some knowledge will be imparted by a guide, which this did not have. Going thru the doors was marvelous and our driver was great, and having dedicated transport in Rome is always a plus, BUT do not expect a true tour.
Ciao Michael, thank you for appreciating the service. The driver is not allowed to act as a guide. In the tour specifications we wrote that a tour guide is not included. The service includes private transportation, to move quickly around the city, between one basilica and another.
A “private tour”, to me, meant that we were going to receive a private guided tour of the different areas that we were to visit, instead of it being just an expensive shuttle service. Our tour guide was very friendly and helpful; however, knew minimal about the areas that we visited. Also, there was confusion about where to pick us up and went to the wrong hotel which delayed our departure by 1/2 hour. Viator was nice and extended our time to make up for the departure delay.
We are sorry about the misunderstanding , but as per the service description, "Christian Rome" is an exlcusive service driven by an English-speaking chauffeur, and in the inclusions we clearly state what services are included, that is to say private transportation and air conditioned vehicle, no guide service is mentioned. As regards the pick-up point the error was caused by miscommunication, but ItalianlifeTour itself has authorized the recovery of time lost at its own expense
Well, I need to make a fair assessment on this tour as I hardly gave any negative review on the tours that I've attended. They advertised this as a "Private Tour" instead of transportation service, so I expected there was some kind of guidance provided (either a tour guide or audio guide or something), but NO, all they provided was a driver and a vehicle with 4 hours limit taking you to 4 churches (if you can finish that in time, since St. Peter's needs more than 2 hours at least with waiting in line for security check). Funny thing was that one of the reviews here said their tour guide was great (that's the reason I thought there should be a tour guide....) So is this a misleading excursion? You will be the judge.... However, our driver was very nice and courteous and the MB van was clean and spacious.... BTW, after I used WhatsApp contacting their tour office, they stopped responding.
It seems like your experience with the Christian Rome private tour didn't meet your expectations, especially regarding the level of guidance provided. While the tour was advertised as a "Private Tour," it appears that it primarily functioned as a transportation service rather than offering in-depth guided commentary or insights at each destination. The tour is offered with private english driver.
Our driver Oliver was wonderful He was courteous, friendly, a good driver getting us around the busy streets of Rome and he was very interested to make sure that we were satisfied with our time spent at the different Churches A great time thank you
Our Staff is really proud of your satisfaction !
The most memorable part was the passion and love that our guide, Stefano, has shared with us. All our treap was a story in time for beginning to end. The guide was so elegant and dedicated that he made us feel like super stars. I already can't wait to come back and let Stefano take us again on his wonderful journey 😀. Thank you for such a memorable trip, we are humbled ❣️
