The tour was great fabulous day on the Bosphorus River. Lunch in a fishing village on the Asian side. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour highly.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that you had a fabulous day on the Bosphorus and enjoyed the lunch in the fishing village on the Asian side. It is also great to know that our guide was friendly and knowledgeable throughout the tour. Your recommendation means a lot to us. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience in Istanbul.
We had this trip scheduled for several months and the morning of the cruise the tour company cancelled because of wind. This was not true as every other boat was still running that day and we did get on another boat for a similar trip later in the evening but had to change all our other plans. It seems as if the company chose to cancel because they did not book enough people to make the cruise worthwhile to run. If you plan your vacations out DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
Hi, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly regret that your cruise had to be cancelled on the morning of your trip. Please allow us to clarify: The tour you booked was a Black Sea Cruise, which goes beyond the Bosphorus into open waters. On that day, weather and marine forecasts indicated high winds and rough sea conditions in the Black Sea, making it unsafe for our yacht to sail there. For the safety of our guests and crew, we were obligated to cancel. Other boats you may have seen operating were Bosphorus-only tours, which run inside the sheltered channel and are not affected in the same way. We understand this was disappointing after your plans, and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, guest safety is always our first priority, and we could not compromise it. We hope to welcome you again in the future under better conditions to provide the safe and enjoyable experience we are known for.
The cruisexwas amazing with a very good guide who gave an interesting talk about the water front of Istanbul. There was an opportunity for a swim, although the water was too cold for me. But, great fun for others. Pods of dolphins followed the boat. The boat was very luxurious, the crew were very friendly and the nibbles on board were very tasty. The village restaurant food was good value for money and service was friendly. The village is worth a walk around.
It was our first time in Istanbul and this was recommended. There are many options to choose from. This one worked for us.
They cancelled last minute citing weather but clear day. They did say would return the payment and we are still waiting for that.
The cruise was great. The whole crew was amazing. Very informative. Lunch was tasty. I would definitely do it again.
Excellent cruise well organized good food got to dip my toes into the Black Sea, some went swimming, recommend it
Absolutely fantastic experience cruising the Bosphorus! The boat was excellent, the staff were attentive, and the food was top-notch, all at an incredible value. The 5-hour trip flew by thanks to the great tour guide who shared fascinating history and facts about Istanbul. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back again! Boris Australia

This tour is currently misinforming users about hotel drop off service on Viator. We were picked up from our hotel in Sultanahmet as is normal with other Istanbul tours (although there was about a 20 minute wait for other guests on some street corner somewhere). When the tour ended, we expected to also be brought back to our hotel. Instead, one guide noticed we were following her and she said “Oh, are you waiting for me? There is no drop off service offered”. Then pointed to the nearest tram station. We had no metro card or anything with us and had not used the public transit in Istanbul before, again, we were expecting and paid for a drop off (as is mentioned on Viator, see the photo). We were then scammed by a local at the tram station because we probably looked very lost and confused while trying to figure out how to get back to our hotel. Please do not misinform and lie to customers about what the package offers and change the information on the site immediately to clearly state that this is a pick up service only and no drop off is offered. See image attached, it clearly shows you offer drop off service.
Dear guest, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely regret any confusion regarding the drop-off service and the inconvenience you experienced at the end of the tour. We take guest expectations very seriously, and if the Viator listing indicated both pick-up and drop-off service, we understand your frustration. We will immediately review and update the tour details to ensure complete clarity for future guests. Regarding your experience at the tram station, we are truly sorry to hear that you faced difficulties. While we always strive to make our guests feel comfortable, we recognize that clear communication about logistics is crucial, and we will take steps to ensure our guides provide better guidance in such situations. We truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. Please feel free to reach out to us directly so we can make things right. Best regards, Tugrul Gokce Bosphorus Tour Istanbul
