This tour begins with a visit to Topkapi Palace (closed on Tuesdays) including the jewellery section, the former imperial residence from where the Great Ottoman Empire was ruled. Today the palace is a spectacular museum with, amongst other exhibitions, one of the largest collections of Chinese and Japanese porcelain.
Little Hafia Sofia one of the most important early Byzantine buildings in Istanbul.

- Visit to the Harem in Topkapi Palace is not included. Entrance will be at your own expense. Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, instead you will take a Bosphorus Cruise

- Important Information Regarding the Restoration Works at Hagia Sophia: A comprehensive restoration project is currently underway at Hagia Sophia Mosque to improve its earthquake resistance. As part of the project, the main dome is being reinforced and a temporary steel protective structure is being installed. The restoration is expected to take approximately 3–5 years. During this period, the mosque will remain open to visitors, and guests will continue to have access to view the historic mosaics.

We had an excellent knowledgeable tour guide who picked us up at our hotel and drove us to first see Little Hagia Sophia and then to Topkapi palace. We had already been to the grand bazaar which was in the itinerary so he agreed to skip it and spend the time in the palace instead which was wonderful. He gave us all the history and background and answered all our questions and we loved learning so much. It was truly a fantastic experience. So worth it!
