Gedikpasa Hamami offers a unique Turkish bath experience, steeped in 550 years of history which was built to a 2350 square-metre zone at old city part of Istanbul by the command of Gedik Ahmet Pasha in 1457 , having a breathtaking 16-meter-high cieling . Located just across from the iconic Grand Bazaar, this historic bath is not just a place for cleansing but a journey into the heart of Turkish tradition , get you served in seperate sections as men and woman , with same-gender therapists' services , variety of massages and selection of Privacy. Upon entering the hamam, you’re greeted by the warmth of marble floors and the soft echo of water. The ritual begins with a relaxing steam bath, preparing your skin for the full exfoliation that follows. A skilled attendant uses a traditional kese (scrubbing mitt) to remove dead skin, leaving you refreshed and revitalized. It was a unique first time in a traditional hamam. Oznur my therapist was great. Very professional despite being in a very vulnerable state. my skin is so soft now.
Amazing experience a must do whenever you visit
It was the best experience we had as a couple. The staff is super nice and speaks great English. They guide you nicely through the process and are very friendly. It is not awkward at all and they are very respectful. It is very clean and when we went, it happened that it was basically empty, which is super cool to get a private experience. After you’re done, you’re served a lemonade, some sort of Turkish juice, and of course Turkish delight. I would come back 100%. It was a great experience.

The Hammam experience was out of this world. The team is friendly and they take good care of you. My therapist was Omur and he was thorough, professional and very friendly. While language is not a big factor for me, (learn some few words in a local language where you travel to), they also have high level of English. And of course those treats at the end! Great experience and very relaxing. They expect you to tip them even though it is not cheap. It is something I recommend you do in turkey.
